DH and I are at BWV now. The staff has been amazing. We have had two minor maintenance issues, both at night. Maintenance was here within 10 minutes and problems fixed quickly. We are on the 5th floor, overlooking the main pool. If we look to the right, we can see the Star Wars fireworks. I love the redone rooms, we have a one bedroom and it is beautiful.

Have you been in the new flying fish? Or abracadabra bar?

No, we mostly ate at Food & Wine. On Friday night we watched Star Wars fireworks from the balcony at 8:00. Then we went down to Ample Hills for ice cream and walked to the bridge for Illuminations at 10:00. Followed by a quick walk back to the Boardwalk to watch Hallowishes at 10:15. It was a perfect ending to our 20th anniversary trip.

Completely agree!

We just got back - we were there just before Matthew arrived. I also LOVED the new look of the 1 bedrooms. Fresh, clean and still themed with artwork (and they left the accent wall with the mirror that reminded me of a boardwalk. :)

Had a fantastic meal at Flying Fish that included some very good service. I was impressed with the new decor. It actually did make me feel like I was "under the sea". Chandeliers were a work of art. Even the silverware was themed - looked like fish scales. :) I also walked through the AbracadaBar, but didn't have time for a drink. I'm not a fan of magic shows, but all the little details related to magic and the backstory were so intriguing. Will definitely spend some time there next trip.

IMG_2555.JPG We are here now too. Never stayed in the old rooms but I really like he look of the new rooms. We are staying in a standard studio and you can't beat the location or cost in my opinion. We can see the fireworks from Illuminations from our room that was only 78 points for a week :)

Now that I am home, I can post the room number. We were in 5026. It was a long walk to the room, but worth it. We had a double size balcony with a view of fireworks at both DS and EPCOT. If we went down the stairs it was a quick walk to DS. When we were at BCV in June, we had a two bedroom that also had a double size balcony. I hope is a trend.
