At AKL now - AC help?

Hello.

We're at AKL at the moment.

Anyone else find the room AC seems to be either cold or hot? If I could figure out how to just turn the air off it would be so much more comfortable.

Is there a way to turn it off altogether?

Everytime we've stayed there - especially at Kidani, it is a set temperature that you cannot change. Our issue was always being there in the summer and wanting the room colder.

We had issues with that too...we were told it is a "green" ac unit and only kicks on when there is movement in the room and if there isnt the system will shut off...this was a pain in the middle of the night when you are sleeping and the room feels like a sauna
