At AK today...help with EMH

How crazy can I expect the park to be tonight from 11pm-1am? We have done everything but FOP. Should I have time to do it during EMH or should I get i make sure to do it now? Thanks!

I'd do it anytime if the wait happens to drop at all. I would still anticipate a 60+ min wait during EMH

It will still be crowded, but the lines should dwindle quite a bit. Midnight to 1 AM is pretty late for families with kids, so they will thin out. The Pandora stuff is still likely to be mobbed, but it will still be limited to only those eligible for EMH, so it shouldn't be as bad as right now.

Looks like it's 120 now, so 60 is still better than that! Do you know, do the cut the line off early, or can one still enter the line at like 5 minutes to closing and get to ride? I could imagine they might draw the line on FoP since it would take half the night to crank through all the people.

I don't know. Right now the app is saying 90 minutes, which while long, seems pretty good relatively speaking. I hear the queue is air conditioned so that might be nice.

I'm seeing 150 on MDE now. I was looking at a third-party app that just said 120+.

Yep, 90 now. That's not too bad at all. I wonder if it changed that fast or if the app was just behind on updating.

When we were there 2 weeks ago the wait time seemed to drop around 5pm. Don't know if it was because people were back at the resorts getting ready for dinner or if having a daily rainstorm around 5pm cut the line down

Last I read is that they were closing off the standby line around 9pm to clear it out for emh guests with park closing at 10 and emh at 11

Ah, that makes sense. The evening EMH can really be hurt with longer lines for the first hour with non-resort guests mixing in. It seems like tehy need to do this for FoP, at least until it calms down some.

We waited for FOP on Sunday during evening EMH. The posted wait time was 160, but we only waited 90.
