At a crossroad with WH vacation homes

Hello,
I am planning a visit to DW in August with my husband and 2 kids. I am really interested in a vacation home with WH but I am so afraid of some of the horror stories I have read online about the lack of cleanliness in some of the homes due to the MC in charge. Can someone give me some positive feedback about the WH homes and the best MC to rent from? Also, I was interested in a Disney theme decorated twin room. thank you.

i was in your same postion a few months ago. i got some great advise on these boards and was able to go out and make a pretty confident decision about booking a WH townhome.

from all the info and research i was able to gather, WH (along with Windsor Palms, Formosa Gardens and Emeral Isle - just the top ones i can remember) is one of the most trusted communities. granted you will find a rare bad apple or bad isolated experience with a good place - in any community, but these communities are pretty darn good.

do the research that everyone here advises (search the villa or home name to see any negative or positive feedback, post asking about a specific place or owner you might be interested in asking for feedback, check the owners validity online....) and you should find that you have a good experience.

I'm not sure that the management company (Florida Leisure) that I rent through manage houses on WH but the houses are always spotless when we go.

Are any of you familiar with Florida Sun a Mgmt co for WH. I'm trying to rent through orlando vacation homes for the WH and Florida Sun is their mgmt Co. Has anyone had any experiences with either of these two Companies?

I'm currently dealing with Florida Sun. We will be renting from them in August. Several people on these boards have used them with no complaint. I checked with Florida Consumer Affairs and they had no complaints listed for Florida Sun. Paperwork for my rental was sent via e-mail with no delay. Good luck. Also WH or Formosa Gardens are as close to WDW without actually being on property with all the room you could want.

We are in Orlando as I type, and I am staying in one of the condos here. We rented from Evergreen Florida Vacation Homes and the only problem was a lack of internet as they said, but they fixed that immediately. Very clean!
