How much credence to you place in this?

Say you are dating, and you read negative things about your sign and the other person's sign, would you be wise to follow that information or chalk it all up as hogwash until you get to know the person?

I don't put any credence in astrological signs at all, so I wouldn't use it as a criteria for who I should date. Of course, I'm married, so I wouldn't be dating in the first place, LOL!

I could care less what sign anyone is. If someone I was dating was basing any decision in life on what their horoscope said it would be a very very short relationship.

I take it into account, but wouldn't necessarily dump someone because of it. I do believe in signs though, because all of my best friends are Aries - I have always gotten along well with that sign (I even wanted DD to be an Aries, and she is!). I also know that I don't get along well with Scorpio. I can think of at least three people that I love/hate that are Scorpios. It's just too coincidental to not be true in some way...

By the way, I read my horoscope daily when deciding whether to date DH. It led me on the right path! I would love to have my chart read to me.

That's what I was thinking. I don't pay attention to horoscopes, but I have a sister who does charts. The general stuff in the daily paper is considered total garbage by everyone.

They don't have to have the same personality and traits. That is why if you read your chart you will see more than just one sign listed. There are some generalities but it is far more complex than being just one sign.

your chart is based on your birth time and place...so no, everyones is different. At the most basic you will have a Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto sign as well as a rising sign.

Your chart takes into account where you were born and what time. It also takes into account the position of other planets and signs.

The one made for me and my hubby had us perfect for each othe AND not lasting long.

I never read horoscopes--just seems silly to me. I do know my sign (sagitarius) and I think DS is the same and DD might be capricorn but I am not sure of even those and I haven't a clue what DH is. I know I love him more than I ever thought it was possible to love somebody and we have been a couple for almost 17 years (married 13).

I like doing horoscopes, I just see them as fun but don't really take them seriously. I once did those relationship charts that said my fiance and I were only good for dating but we will not be long term together, despite the fact that we have been with each other for years.

That site was interesting. I couldn't do the partner test because I don't know what time my BF was born and I have no idea whether a Taurus and a Gemini (on the cusp between Taurus and Gemini) are supposed to get along or not.

Phooey - my BFF is all into it along with numbers - her weddings (note the use of the plural form ) have been planned for specific dates because of what her numerologist told her. She planned her pregnancies somewhat so that her children would not be certain astrological signs

DH and I are both Virgos. On every chart that I have ever seen, it has said that we are the worst match of them all. On one it did a scale of one to one hundred. We scored a ZERO.

As you can tell, I now have no belief what so ever in Astrology.
