Anyone else starting to feel the affects of the seasonal changes?

DD was really struggling yesterday and last night. We don't usually have to use her albuterol inhaler....just a rescue med. She takes Singulair and usually maintains good control with just that but when it starts getting cooler at night we start having flare ups. Had to use the inhaler twice last night. Then also this morning.......she sounded much better before heading off to school.

It's been very humid during the day here as well, the air feels heavy. The weatherman said "it's soupy" this morning.

Here in western NY, the ragweed pollen count has shot up, and yes, those of us that are allergic to ragweed are really feeling it these days. I don't know if that's the case where you are, though. It's so tough trying to get them feeling better sometimes. My son's asthma always got worse at back to school time, but as soon as the weather really turned to fall weather he got better. Hope it gets better for y'all soon.

Thanks!

Just checked the pollen count and it shows 6.9 today......the humidity though is 87%. DD's seems to get worse right during back to school too, so maybe a change in her daily environment as well. She has lots of environmental triggers.
