Assure me I'm not a Whack-a-Doodle!

Hi, All.

I just need to be told I'm not completely out of my mind. I was lucky enough to be able to go to WDW with my whole family back in May. When I got home, I planned a solo trip (still trying to recruit a travelling companion) for October. That should enough for anyone, right?

Well, I just now booked ANOTHER trip for December to meet up with some friends! I found a terrific airfare and was able to get a fantastic rate at All-Star Movies (I'm in the travel industry). Am I crazy? I have to say I am so excited to be able to get to WDW during the Holiday season and attend MVMCP, though.

Am I wacky to do 3 trips in a year?

Of course not! I just finished going three three times within a years time too, and I'm certainly not a Whack-a-Doodle!

My 3rd time will be in October, so your not Whacky.... I can't wait to do the MNSSHP on the 1st of Oct. I'm even thinking about going to the MVMCP too and that would be my fourth for the year.. Now I am whacky...

Definately not wacky!!!! (Well unless you go play wackypacky in Dinorama) Hubby and I made 6 trips down here in a 2 year span before we finally wised up and just moved down here!!!! Now, I feel I am finally at home and couldn't be happier!!!

Not at all, I'm doing two and seriously gave thought to 3.

Your trips mirror my trips. I went solo in May, am going with a group in October and solo again in December.

I got lucky this year too!!! We went in Jan and have a trip planned for our first ever December in WDW. Then those great Southwest Airlines rates came out and I managed to convince my DH to do a quick trip in Sept. I am sooooooo excited. 3 times in one year!

I went in Dec. with the whole family, then in May, just my wife and I, and I may be going again in Nov. with my dad.

If you are wacky then sign me up too!! I too am in the travel industry and get great deals. I will be making my 3rd trip this year in Oct and already have a family trip planned in May. I loving reading posts like your b/c I question my sanity (my DH does too) from time to time. Hey, like I tell Dh, there are many things worse than being obscessed with Disney.

two months from now my bags are packed and I'm trying to sleep and it is difficult as the following day I leave for the 4th trip in a year. Oct, 03, Dec 25, 03-Jan2, 04, April04, and now Sept 04. I bought an annual pass last year hoping I would get 10 days out of it with the first two trips. Then along came low airfares and WOW I get to go 2 more times. Four times in a year is a record for me- If you're wacky you've got lots of company!

I don't think you're wacky at all. Matter of fact I'm very jealous that I can't go more often! In May/June I went for only the 2nd time in 4 yrs. I'm a home based travel agent and altho I see great deals, I can't take advantage of them. Between clients, kids, and home responsibilities there is no way I could go 3 times a year!! I'm hoping for a trip to Cancun in Sept and MAYBE the cruise a thon in Dec in Ft Lauderdale. Would also love to do Sandals but DH can't get time off from work. Have a great time and know how lucky you are to make it to WDW more than once a year!!

I went in February; then Southwest Airlines came out with a $44 fare from NH, grabbed it and took a quick weekend at the Dolphin. As you can see from my countdown, I'm goin' again in a few days for two weeks--and I'm glad, because so far, we're having a lousy summer up here in the North, and I'm looking forward to some sunshine!!! I'll go again in the fall for the Food and Wine Festival--prices are just right for the airlines. So we're Whacky! Who cares?
