Assumptions! Am I still right? DME and WL

Hey all - it's been a while since our last trip and I don't want to make a fool out of myself by assuming that my transportation needs have stayed the same. Would you mind letting me know if these will still work?

We are arriving at 10:01 p.m. and using DME. I understand now that we will get our own luggage and go down to the counters where I no longer (?) have to check in at the big counter? Do I just get straight in line?

Our next morning, we'll have early ADRs at CP. To get to MK from WL, we usually take the boat to the Contemporary and walk. I'm assuming that boat still starts operating around 7:00?

On the baggage question, correct. Passengers arriving after 10:00 p.m. need to collect their own bags and take them to the DME bus.

On the check-in question, you still need to approach the DME Welcome Center. However, most guests report that unless they have some specific issue (didn't bring DME vouchers, luggage checked without DME tags, etc.) they are directed by a CM stationed at a podium at the Welcome Center queue entrance to head straight to the bus lines. That has been our experience recently. You should not, however, just take it upon yourselves to head straight to the bus lines. Check at the podium and follow the instructions from the CM. If there's no one at that podium proceed to the Welcome Center desk before heading to the bus lines.

There is a boat directly to the MK from the WL it would certainly be faster to just take that boat. There are also buses that run from the WL to the MK.
We found that the boats were the better way to travel to the MK, they had more of a "set schedule".

Thanks! We found last time that the MK boats only started operating an hour before park opening, which was too late for our breakfast reservations. I would love it if that changed!

You are correct the boat to the MK does not start running until about an hour prior to the park opening. You did not indicate in your original post what time your ADR was.
I do not know what time the boat to the CR start running.
There is always the bus to the MK the buses start running well before the parks open.
