Say I buy tickets and make park reservations the first week of August. If I don't show up (hypothetically speaking) would our park hopper tickets show up as being used? I won't be booking a package since the plan is to stay at the Park Vue Inn across the street. I know theme park tickets alone can't be refunded.

I think you have to enter the park for your ticket to be marked used.

Why not just cancel the reservation when you realize you won’t be able to go? I think if you cancel even the night before, you’ll be fine no?

I called Disneyland today and they told me I'd have until the day before arrival to cancel my park reservation.
