So I failed to do my research and just found out I cannot add a rollaway bed on my reservation. My boys are 19 and 17 and refuse to share a bed. As this was an extra trip we did not get two rooms like usual and my kids are having a fit. Any suggestions for air mattresses or something similar? We will be flying so it needs to be something we can transport.

TIA

I hope that you can find something suitable, unfortunately I don’t have any suggestions. Our sons are 8 years apart, would not share a bed either, totally understand!

When in your situation we always buy and ship an air mattress down via Amazon and then just leave it. $30 is so worth it to keep the peace.

We used a twin sized air mattress at Sports in December. We put it in front of the door at night and leaned it against the wall during the day. We out the blankets on a chair. It worked fine and housekeeping never touched it or anything. I would bring a pump so you don't have to pump it up. We have flown with this mattress in checked luggage several times and it hasn't been a problem. It is a little heavy though.

order to be sent to your resort or pack in suitcase twin size air mattress or if you want trip to Walmart. and as someone else said also a pump

We use an air mattress almost every trip. GREAT to have an extra bed in the room...They are cheap and they work. Amazon or walmart. They will do just fine. Make sure u have pump.
When we go down with other families they work great as kids move room to room. lol

This sounds like the perfect solution. How do you ship to the resort? I have never shipped anything to the resort before?

Thank you everyone for the responses

For shipping address just use

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
1701 West Buena Vista Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8401

There's usually an extra box where you can put your resort confirmation number.

I bought one at Target - a thinner one, but still blow-up. Came with a pump. It fit easily into a carry on size bag (it was the only thing in there). We brought it back home in case we need it here or for a future trip. But I also felt better taking it out of the box and blowing it up before we left. Did want to get all the way to our destination and discover it was damaged.

We use a rolling duffle bag as a carry on. In the bag is a twin blow up mattress from Walmart from the camping section, a pump, a set of sheets, and a camping blanket we got at Costco. Never had a problem going through security. We also don't have to wait for our luggage since we check in late. Used the mattress at both Pop Century and AKL we just lean up against the wall during the day.
