ASSp, POP, or AoA?

Trying to decide where to stay the last week of September. We're a party of four, two adults, 1 child, and a toddler. One adult and child have never been to WDW, only DL, and I've heard the resort experience is very different. I've stayed at both ASSp and POP before, but I know the little girl coming with us would absolutely love the Little Mermaid rooms at AoA. All are within our price range so I'm wondering:
  • How long of a walk is it from the standard LM rooms to the buses at AoA? We'll have two in strollers, and it looks pretty far on the map.
  • Is there a huge difference in food court quality/options? We'll probably only eat at the resort a couple of times, maybe just for even snacks.
  • Are bus wait times comparable? How able the distance to the bus stops at the parks? If I remember correctly, POP was usually one of the last ones.
Thanks so much!

The food court at Art of Animation is 1000 times better than pop in my opinion. We didn't like the food options/quality/atmosphere at pop at all and loved the food court at art of animation so if you plan to eat a lot at the resort a lot you may want to consider AofA. I haven't stayed at an all star resort yet but many of my friends have and they say to avoid them due to big tour groups there. The LM rooms at AofA are a fair hike to the food court but in all honesty we have that issue at moderate resorts as well and even at deluxes so it can be hard to avoid unless you book preferred.
