We will be staying at ASMu 10/27 - 11/3. Last year we stayed at AKL and off site at a timeshare.

Is there a particular room that we should request?

Any tips about staying there?

Although we are driving (from Pittsburgh), we will be using disney tranport most of the time. Does that make sense?

My granddaughter and I stayed at ASMu last year and we loved it there. We stayed in Jazz building and thought it was an excellent location....no too far from food court, buses, etc. It was right between the two pools which was convienant. The bus service was excellent and everything was sparkling clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

DW and I stayed there last year and intentionally got a room far far away from the main pool area. Sorry, I don't remember the building name. We really enjoyed the quieter area, and also liked taking the stroll from our room to the main building for food, drinks, or catching a bus. Although a reduction in price wasn't the reason we did it, we certainly didn't complain about that either! I guess most people want to be near the pools and stuff like that for a shorter walk.

Actually, we liked it so much, that we're going to ASMo in two weeks, and we requested a room in the back again, even though I heard some rooms right next to the main pool area were available for a pretty low rate.

If you are staying in one AS resort, can you use the pools and food courts at any AS resort?

We stayed at ASMu in 6/00. We liked the resort alot, but did not like the building we were in - it was Country Fair - the furthest from civilization. If you like it quiet and don't mind a pretty long hike to buses, food court, etc. this would be the building for you. Let me just say this - it's a looonnnng walk in the rain - and it poured every single day.

we were just there last month. we had a room in the broadway section, as we had requested! we liked it cuz it was quiet, but it is a hike to the main building and food court. but it is right by one of the pools, the piano pool...

We just returned yesterday from 8 days at ASMu. We did not pay for nor ask for a preferred building, but we got one anyway. The resort was not full, and I'm 7 months pregnant, so I think that may have had something to do with it. We were in Calypso 1608. 3rd floor, right on the same side as the pool. It was a beautiful room - looked brand new. We had a wonderful view of the pool and food court area. I thought it would be really noisy, but it was NOT. Never once did I think about the noise, despite that most nights we were going to bed when there were still at least 100 people in the pool! If you have any other questions, please let me know. We had a great stay there.

We stayed in Calypso. It was VERY convenient. It was only a short walk to the main building, food court, shops, and buses. It's right in front of the big pool. We had a great stay.
