This may seem like a strange question but I was looking at some pictures of the suites and it looks like the locks are down low on the door. Are all the locks down low or do they have a lock up high also??

I'm just wondering because we have a 2 year old son and I would hate for him to be able to reach the locks and be able to open the door to escape. :scared1:

Can you post what picture you are looking at? Most places have the bolt type thing on the doorknob and then a chain at the top of the door. I can't remember if Disney has it that way. The doors are pretty heavy so your two year old would have to be pretty strong to get it open and get out before the door closed.

Every room door I've had at Disney has had two locks - one at door knob height and one higher. This has been true on patio/balcony doors, as well as hall/exterior doors. Now if you have one that will drag a chair over and climb on it to undo the door, you might have a problem . . . .

The pictures I was looking at were in two different threads on here about ASMu suites. They showed the door and the door handle was normal height but right above it, about 2 inches, was what looked like another lock. You could see almost all of the door except for the very top and I didn't see a chain lock or another kind up high. :confused3
Hmmm unless the pictures were of a handicapped room, maybe the locks are low in the rooms because of wheelchairs.
