ASMu Room Request Fax # ????

Hi Fellow DIS Members,

Where can I find the fax # of where to send in room requests. I would like to request connecting rooms and not sure where to send it to? We are a magical gathering and they have us linked but want to do the most i can to get connecting rooms or at least nearby rooms.

Also what building is best (near the food court?)

If you have the request noted in your reservation there is no need to fax.

Suggestion on building to ask for? I thought there used to be a fax number to send it in to?

You can add requests to your reservation by calling CRO. That's the 'official' way to do it, and the only way you can be sure your requests will be seen. The requests will download to the resort along with your reservation, and will be right there on the screen for the CMs to see when they assign your room.

If your reservation was booked by a travel agent, they will have to call and add the requests for you.

Some people liked to also send a fax, to emphasize their requests. The word got out on the web, and the resorts were inundated with faxes. Officially, the resorts no longer accept them. Some room assigners still read them, some throw them away.

If it makes you feel better to send a fax after you've called in your requests, feel free, it won't do any harm. The resort won't have your reservation until a few days before you arrive, so wait until then.
