ASMu - Preferred rooms

We are leaving for WDW in a few days and are booked at ASMu. DH booked a preferred room. What does that mean exactly? Are we closer to the pool or the food court? Is it a larger room or does preferred mean location?

I really like being a little away from the noise of the pool and don't mind the extra walk to the food court so I'm hoping we will end up in a quiet section.

Preferred rooms are closer to the food court and bus stops at the value resorts. You could request a room that does'nt face the pool. That way you shouldn't be bothered by noise, but would still have the convenience of being closer to the bus stops--something you'll really appreciate at the end of a long day at the parks.

Preferred at Music means you will be in the Calypso buildings. I would request a room facing the parking lot if you want quiet. We had a room where we could see our car, but were close enough to the walk through that we could easily get to the food court, pools, and buses quickly.
