DH and I stayed at Music (just us) about six years ago (before Movies was open). We chose it over Sports because the music theme was much more our style, but once we arrived we both thought that the look of Sports was cooler, slightly better themed.
We visited again last summer with my 11 and 13 year old cousins. Movies was our first choice, but it was sold out. Because of our previous experience and because we thought the kids would be more into the Sports theme, we chose Sports, but then I spent weeks and weeks worrying about not liking it very much and second guessing the choice (especially because it's the oldest).
Long story short, in the end I think we made the absolute right choice. The kids liked the bolder Sports theme (and both are into sports) and I never felt overwhelmed by the interior decor (I had worried that football bedspreads, etc. would drive me insane, but it's pretty subtle and I barely noticed the difference from Music). And I didn't notice any glaring wear due to its slightly older age.
But--as a family that relied on the Disney bus system (no car)--I think Sports was clearly the best option for us. We never really cared that it was Baseball and Football instead of Broadway or Toy Story, and it was a blessing to be the first bus stop. Great to be picked up first (more likely to get a seat and more likely at peak hours to fill the bus, then bypass Music and Movies and go right to our destination) and great to be dropped off first after a long day. Being the first bus stop of the three All Stars was 110% enough reason for me to make Sports my first choice, though if we went back with a car I'd try for Movies again.
Hope that helps.
