We are planning a Sept. trip and can't decide?? We stayed a FW cabin last year, but it didn't feel very "Disney". We can't decide between the movies or the music. We will need two connecting rooms, and have kids 14,11,9, and 5. Please give me your views!

Movies is the most "Disney" of all the resorts with huge Disney Icons all over the place. Sorceror Mickey, Buzz Lightyear, Herbie the Love Bug, Perdita and Pongo!!

I mean how Disney can you get!!

My Family & I have stayed at both resorts. Having said that my husband, my daughter ,and myself all agree even now that Music is so much better.

It so seems so serene and laid back compared to the Movies.
When we were at the Movies at breakfast we would go over to music to eat. In all honesty the movies has a better food court area but all in all it isn't worth the trade off.

When you stay by the pool it does tend to get a bit crowded but if you get there early enough you can get a great place by the pool or even a table w/an umbrella.

IMHO Music beats Movies Hands down,

Well, my son (15) likes Movies the best because of all the Disney movie stuff all over the place. He also likes their food court the best because it has the most choices of things to eat.

I like the Music the best -- especially Jazz with the rose fountain out front -- because it is more laid back, and I l ike the theming of the bathrooms better (I am wierd, I admit it).

My husband likes tent camping the best, so we'll leave him out of this!

We have stayed at both resorts and for some reason our family preferres the Music,Calypso building to be exact. Maybe because it was the place we stayed at our first Disney trip, or maybe there is some kind of subliminal suggestion that is sent to the brain when living inside a lime green building that makes you feel all warm & snuggly inside.

We have stayed at both Music & Movies, and while we really liked both, Music gets the winning vote! I love the Jazz building at Music, esp the little courtyard in the front with the benches to sit on...it is so fun to just sit there in the morning and watch the "pod people" travel to the food court with their handy-dandy refillable mugs to get their caffeine jolt! Both resorts (and Sports, too) have little touches in their theming that are so cute and pure Disney...but Music also seems to have better landscaping and it also has MUSIC playing all the time (when we stayed at Movies, there was no Music, have they added any?)...have fun wherever you decide to stay!

I'm going to go against the majority here and say definitely movies. I've only stayed at ASMu and beforehand there was no question of my choice. DS is a music major, specifically jazz. I asked for and got the jazz building. Then I went to the food court. It was full of teenage and college-aged kids with some very unDisney-like language. And one night, after Enight, when I came back after midnite, way past my usual bedtime, there were so manyolder kids still running around.
But one time I walked over to ASM, just to see what it was like, and it seemed like so much more Disney-like.

I love Music it's the best. The food court is great and the theming is very cute.
