I read somewhere else that someone got the family suite for $97 a night on expedia in late January. I checked it out...I picked random dates...1/20-1/26...and sure enought...$97 a night! Just thought I'd share the news!:thumbsup2

is this a value season rate? I wanted to take the kids next year in value season and wanted to stay there...is this a code?

That is a good rate. We went last week with a 30% off code and still paid $132 (which was still a good rate, I thought)

I booked it for 1/31 and got the $97 rate. THANKS! One thing, it looks like expedia mistook the preferred rooms for the most expensive ($200+per night). If this is a mistake will they make us pay the difference? I hope this is a legit rate....its amazing!:thumbsup2

I have the ASMu family suites booked through expedia in January for $97/night, also. I have never booked through expedia before, so don't know if they can charge us the difference if it was a mistake. I wouldn't think so, if we have our confirmation at that rate. Does anyone know?:confused3

I saw this offer awhile ago, but was hesitant to book due to the following, from Expedia's website:

IN ADDITION, EXPEDIA EXPRESSLY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT ANY PRICING ERRORS ON OUR WEBSITE AND/OR ON PENDING RESERVATIONS MADE UNDER AN INCORRECT PRICE. IN SUCH EVENT, WE WILL OFFER YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP YOUR PENDING RESERVATION AT THE CORRECT PRICE OR, AT YOUR OPTION, WE WILL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITHOUT PENALTY.

I was the one that posted on a different thread...... I'm there in January for $97 a night I'm not going to question because it's paid in full and confirms a suite. Bless my DW for finding it.

I am going to thank you because I found your post last night. You confirmed some info for me. Well, I don't love Expedias cancel policy so I checked out some other booking sites. I just booked 15 nights in August 2009 through Hotels.com. I also got the Family Suite and it confirms it on my reservation. Even the rep helping me was surprised. He said that hotel normally goes for almost $200 per night. I will admit is seems too good to be true. We can still use Magical Express and all too. I thought we would lose out on that.

I am paying $184 without tax per nt. in Jan. Went through Dis TA in case any codes or deals come up which could be applied. Your deal sounds way better right now.

Yea, it sounded too good to be true. I guess I will wait to hear from Expeida if they are going to exercise their right to rebook or refund without penalty. Hope springs eternal, though!:goodvibes

Thanks for all of the warnings on booking with expedia. I plan to sit tight for a little while, and wait for expedia to contact me regarding our ASMu suite reservation. I just booked yesterday, and they said that they would send a complete itinerary within 4 days. So maybe at that point, they will give me the bad news. Maybe a code will come through WDW that covers the dates that we are there, and I won't have to worry about it. Unfortunately, we check in on 1/1/09, so can't take advantage of the new 7 nights for 4 offer that just came out!
