I have never stayed at the ASMu and I was wondering from those that have - how is the Disney Transportation to and from parks? Is it always overcrowded/not enough busses/too many stops? I know at some resorts the transportation can me cumbersome. Hoping that at this resort it is nice and easy. Thanks for any input.

Let me start by saying that most likely you will get a lot of negative comments on the All Star buses. I don't know what people have to complain about....the All Stars are no better or worse than any of the mod resorts. The mods all have multiple stops.

So...I've stayed at all the value resorts with only 1 complaint about the bus service(it was at POP though). At ASMu you are the second stop on a shared bus...it's a max of 3 stops. So with being stop #2 you will only make 1 additional stop before heading to your desination and the same goes for coming back. However, more often than not it is NOT a shared bus. The most common time to share is if you are traveling at an off peak time of the day or when on the DTD bus.

The only thing that is worthy of complaint is that the bus lines are not covered.

We have stayed at Pop, AsMovies, and AsMusic...and had the most positive experience at AsMusic. Pop was always crowded and while AsMovies was better, it was still pretty crowded. We have also stayed at CSR and found that the buses were no better than AsMusic. The lines at AsMusic were shorter and we almost always had a seat on a bus. They ran regularly so the only time that we waited long (10 minutes) for a bus was when we just missed one. We had our own bus for park opening and closing. The only time that we shared a bus with the other All Star resorts was when we left the park early one day. We really loved our experience at the AsMusic resort. :goodvibes
