ASMovies vs. POP

We can't decided. Is there anything better about one vs. the other?

We've done both, and liked ASMo better. It just seems more "Disney" to us than Pop. They play Disney music, Pop plays, well, pop, the icons at Movies are Disney characters, and while there are some of those at Pop as well, most are not. Of course, it could be that ASMo was our first on site stay, so we kind of have a "soft spot" for that resort!

Check out this thread for info on Pop. It convinced me to change my reservation coming up in a couple of weeks.

From what I'm hearing, I'm sure we all will enjoy POP. We've stayed most every other place on property, but since we needed 2 rooms, we went with a value. Originally, it was movies, but after reading the thread (and could get a better discount rate at Pop), we switched. It's so close now...I can't wait.

We love POP and have stayed in all stars lots of times. The reasons we prefer it are many but the top ones are: 1. Transportation is far superior. you don't share buses. 2. food and food court is much better. refillable mugs are frozen cokes. 3. gift store is larger and nicer. 4. room is more comfortable. they made refinements on what was needed at all stars when they built pop. 5. it is newer. 6. it has the best cm's in the world. 7. there is a lake and a view of fireworks. 8. there is the goofy surprise fountain that kids love. 9. you could spend a day looking at nostalgic things from the past. I had forgotten about sack dresses and saddle oxfords and lots of other things.9. we love the indoor bar and coffee bar.

We love Pop! I think they made everything that was good at the all stars even better at Pop.
