ASMo Questions

Today I will be booking our trip 3-night at the ASMo. Having never stayed there, I have a few quick questions.

1) This is a budget trip, so I have elected to book a Standard room and let the chips fall where they may. However, is there any room/area we should completely avoid if at all possible?

2) Just how long of a walk is it really to the food court & bus stop?

3) Do they sell convenience breakfast items (eg. cereal)? If so, what type of items do they sell?

4) Any advice you can give about staying at this resort? (have stayed at AKL & Poly in the past)

We stayed in the further building possible there which was Mighty ducks and i would say it was less then 10 minutes walk to the food court and that's walking with my 5 yo triplets. You can take the bus there or at AS music and from our room that bus was only 3 minutes walk.

can;t help you about the cereals.

Although we liked the hotel, we missed POR. We found it to be very crowded but it's understandable as the resort is much smaller therefor it makes it seem like there's more people then POR. We thought the food court to be good and don't regret at all staying there as a matter of fact, we will go back there once our 4th child is over the age of 3 as we will need 2 rooms and moderate will be out of the question.

Although DH and I are staying at ASMu in May/June, ASMo is my favorite value resort. I find it to be very accessible. The Mighty Ducks is the farthest from food courts, but I have never been assigned to that section, just know how far it is because I have walked around the entire resort on occasion. The sections I have been in have been about a 6-7 minute walk to pool and food court, but it is nicely landscaped so the walk is pleasant. I'm pretty sure it is the last stop for the buses but you can always walk to ASMu and catch the buses there and save a little time.
