ASMo or Pop

HI I have a question... I have AAA and i can stay at the POP $90 cheaper then the ASMo but i already have reservations for the ASMo...I didnt know at the time POP would be cheaper but the $90 isnt a big deal to us!..we were wondering what do you all think is the better resort..if you have stayed at either one let us know how it was..we havent stayed at either one of them..but i have stayed at an All Star before...any advice would be nice!..ASMo or POP?

id say stay at POP..ive stayed at all the all star resorts and i feel that POP is a lot better....more families and less school groups or in other words "teens"...i know im knocking down my own age group lol..but i do admit that teens do get annoying and rowdy. So i would say POP...great pools..food court and transportation.

We personally preferred ASMo. Pop was a nice enough resort but we just didn't think the service was as good at Pop as it was at ASMo. We also thought there were more lines at the food court, guest services at Pop than at Movies. If the $90 is not an issue then I would stay at ASMo.

I have stayed at all of the All Star Resorts and Movies is my favourite. I did not ever want to move to another resort area.
Then I had to go to POP.
I now love POP, I have been three times and each turns out better than the previous one.
I would go back to ASMo if I could not get a reservation to POP, but POP is now the only value resort that I would think of booking.
POP has a larger TV in the room, 27in whereas ASMo has 19in.
The counter service eatery at POP has a larger selection than ASMo.
The CM do the Hustle at POP, at ASMo they just look at you funny.

IMO POP is the better facility, however you are sure to enjoy ASMo.

As the Movies & Pop are on the same level, I'm not quite sure why you can't get the discount at the Movies to save $90. I'd call CRO (or whoever made your ressie) and ask about this.

Having said that, my vote is for the Movies. We loved it there and am going back this December. We stayed at Pop last November and just did not care for it. We just did not feel the same Disney feeling we got from staying at the Movies. Plus if your room is in the 90's section, it's a bit of a walk to the main building & bus stop.

My family of 4 just got back last night from staying a week at Pop and we loved it! The magic was there and even though my husband came down with strep and bronchitis during our stay he can't say enough good things about the CM's helping out. The food was good with a great selection and the pool was great--never overly crowded. Needless to say, I'm already planning our next trip there............

I have never stayed at the other value resorts, but stayed at two moderates. When I booked Pop last year, I was a little nervous that because it was a value resort, I would not like it as much as the moderates. I actually liked it just as much if not better. I was plesantly surprised how much I enjoyed Pop Century. Go for it - it's groovy baby.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for there information and advice..We are still deciding what to do. I think we will probably stay at the movies because we already have it booked and we have never stayed there before and we are excited about it. We figure that maybe next time we would go and stay at the POP!..any information about the two places is still always good!
