ASMO-Non Smoking

What buildings/rooms are non smoking in ASMO. Or maybe it would be easier to answer which are the smoking buildings?
We hope to be in Mighty Ducks,but for some reason now Im thinking IVe heard they are the smoking buildings. I hope Im imagining that.

Camcolt I can't recall all the non=smoking buildings, but when we stayed in Mighty Ducks one building was non-smoking and one was smoking. As you walk towards the Mighty Ducks pool from the food court area, the building on the right was non-smoking. I am not sure if this is still the case. We just spent one night at ASMO in April and stayed in Toy Story, Buzz building and it is non-smoking. I believe that most of the building are non-smoking, if I rmember correctly I think only 2 are smoking.

According to the 2002 Passporter, the following are non smoking buildings:
101 Dalmations buildings 1 and 4
Mighty Ducks building 2
Fantasia building 5, which is also a preferred building
The Love Bug buildings 6 and 7
Toy Story building 10

Smoking buildings are
Mighty Ducks building 3
Fantasia building 8, which is also a preferred building
Toy Story building 9

I don't have a passporter, but I have stayed in Bldg 9 three times. Each time it was non-smoking. Our rooms were on the third floor. The last time was in November 2001.

I requested Dalmation but forgot to request non-smoking (silly seeing that cig smoke gives me migranes) so i hope that both buildings are indeed nonsmoking.

I THINK that it had the jack in the box. The theamiing in fantasia is not that great but the location is awsome. It is the one that directly faces the big pool and sit right beside the spash pool . Hope you understand from this which one it is.It is a prefered building which is 10.00 a night more if that is a interest to you.I had read before that this building was smoking but we were told that all building eight was non smoking and we saw or smelled no sighs of it in our room.

We were in Fantasia 8 in Feb. and our room was 3rd floor right by the ballerina and it IS a smoking building as we had ashtrays in our room.

Thank you Jordans mom and Big V. We have ressies for a perferred room only because they had no standard rooms left. We went walking around there last trip(stayed at AKL) and we loved the resort. Personally I liked the Toy Story part best but I guess Fantasia will be good too cause it's in the middle. My kids loved the fountains at the Herbie section so I wouldn't even mind staying there-lol. I just don't want to be in the jack-in-the-box section, I think they're freaky looking. I know, I'm weird. lol.

Just a note if you have a choice. We were in room 8855 and we loved the location. HOWEVER, toward the end of our week in January as the temps rose and crowds increased, the noise level from the pool got a little high. We are early to bed and first at the park kind of people. It was not too bad and died down quite early, but I bet that those room facing the pool could be subject to a lot of evening pool noise in hot weather. If this is a concern you might want to ask for a room on the other side of this building. Hope this helps.

If non-smoking rooms are needed to avoid illness make sure to tell the reservationist this. A very helpful Disney woman who took my reservations said non-smoking is only a request and NOT guaranteed unless in the case of allergies, asthma,etc. In those cases the situation is noted on the reservation and the non-smoking room is always provided.
