ASM Fantasia Pool rehab in January

Hi.
I just read that the Fantasia pool will be closed during our stay.

The Fantasia Pool (main pool) will be close for rehab for the month of January beginning January 3, 2006. Shuttle service will be available to the All Star Sports and All Star Music resorts for use of those pools. Shuttle will run 10:00am to 10:00 pm daily.

My son wants to stay in the Love Bug section of the resort. But the hassle of having to take a shuttle to go swimming might lead me to change resorts. Any thoughts?

Where did you find this out? If this is the case I am going to have to look at changing my whole holiday. Surely my travel company (Virgin) would have notified me and maybe at least offer a solution. The Fantasia pool was one of the main selling points for me.

There is a quiet pool at ASMo. I can't imagine it being that full in January, but I guess there's no way to know for sure. If you stay in the Love Bug section, it's really a short walk across the parking lot to ASMu. We did it several times.

We can definitely swim at the quiet pool. And I'm glad to hear we can walk to the AS Music pool from the Love Bug section. That'll work.

I'm more upset about Buzz Lightyear being closed! My son will be sad to have to walk by that ride.
