It seems as if she may be having a relapse of
C Diff. :(

She is supposed to go back to work on Friday. But I think she will be seeing or at least speaking to some medical professionals tomorrow for advice. If she does have C Diff, she won't be going back to work - she works in a hospital.

If you all could keep her in your thoughts and prayers we would really appreciate it. :)

Dd will be in our prayers. We know what it's like having cdiff. My df was in the hospital for over a month and came down with it. Not pleasant. Keeping fingers crossed for your dd that it is not a relapse.

Your daughter will be in my thoughts. :grouphug:

Sorry to hear this Beth...your DD is in my thoughts and prayers too! Hope she feels better soon.

Poor thing! She certainly has a lot to deal with! Ann will continue to be in my prayers. I hope all goes well.

Oh, Beth...

I had no idea about C Diff until now.... thank you for the link.

I hope she does NOT have it, I've lived years with digestive problems and I can totally relate.

God bless you both,

Robinrs

Thank you everyone. :grouphug:

This is all so frustrating. We are 99% sure that she has had a relapse - it happens in 20% of all cases. She is having the identical symptoms that sent us to the ER nearly a couple of weeks ago - just not QUITE as bad - yet.

She has a call into the Dr. asking for a new lab test to show that she has it, but has yet to hear from them. And if she submits a sample, it takes 24 hours for it to show up. She has a call into work telling them about her symptoms and asking what she should do. She has not heard from them yet. In the meantime, she is wearing a path to the bathroom and risks dehydration again. But there is nothing more we can do - unless we just head to the ER.

Poor girl. :(

A bright spot! The Dr.'s office called and they still want her to submit a sample for testing, but are prescribing medicine immediately. :cheer2:

The medicine worked pretty quickly when she was in the hospital. So hopefully things will slow down within a day or so and she can start feeling better again.
