Two completely different items:

1. I have two different contracts. Two home resorts. Same date. I booked at 11 months for AKL. For that, I have to bank/borrow/use. I will have a few points from my other contract that I would like to use for this (am within the 7 months). Some days are available in my reservation but not all. Can I call DVC and ask them to try to use the big bad 11 points from the other contract that I will have to find a use for or am I out of luck because of the 11 month/7 month issue?

2. We have been getting calls about dinners in Nashville on the availability issues with DVC and changing of the reservation system. We've been assuming it is a scam. Anyone know about any of these?

Assuming you have a Master & an add-on arrangement, you should be able to get MS to reallocate the points used for your existing reservation because you are within the 7 month window AND there is still availability for some of the days you need. I'd just call & explain what you want to do - free up bankable points from the existing reservation by using the leftovers from the other contract.

It may not be a scam, but because they are offering dinner, it's a very good bet that they are trying to sell you something. My guess is that it's some type of generic vacation club or exchange system. My advice is to go with your instincts and just skip it - I hate high pressure sales meetings and I'm almost positive that this is what you're being invited to.

You can always contact MS to verify the legitimacy of any phone calls you receive.

It's most likely someone either trying to buy your DVC or sell you their timeshare. BEWARE!!!
