Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions. I have talked it over with my sisters and they have decided to take the money and put it toward next year's trip that will be in Mid-November and just do a party then. With time as tight as money I really don't want to short-change their big trip next year. So we are going to save the magic for next year. Thank you all again. Thanks for the Bonnet Creek suggestions. That place looks perfect for our needs. As there will be 7 of us.

I think that was the best decision.

Also, they are already all Disney adults so it's not like you'd be saving a boatload of money on kids ticket prices vs next year.

Something to look forward to for next year! Disney gift cards would make great Christmas gifts for the kids to use on souvenirs.

Keep in mind that December can be freezing! We were in mittens, hats and jackets at the beginning of December a few years ago. We are from Chicago and are used to the cold, but it was definitely not swimming weather!

If it helps, I ordered greatly reduced tickets from USSSA.com for our quick trip. 1 day tickets were only $85. I did a 2 day hopper for $160. Maybe you could do 1 full day at MK and another at a water park or even 2 days at MK.

Someone posted a link to this webpage on another thread but I can't get it to work for me. I had already bought tickets for our Sept trip directly through Disney because they had the cheapest price for a 1 day ticket (pre-cruise visit). So I really don't need to buy now but I saved the page in my favorites for future use and just tried to make a mock purchase. Whenever I try to put tickets in my cart it says "Temporarily Unavailable" Does this mean they're all out of tickets? The website is down? Did you see any of this?
