I'm so very sorry. I lost my beloved Father to this awful disease too. I miss him every single day. The only comfort I have is knowing that he would have hated the things he did and said. Daddy was very much a southern gentleman, before he got sick.
I will pray for strength for you and your mother.

Hi everyone,

Well things are finally looking up for Mom! Her oxygen level is now normal, they reversed decision to insert feeding tube, and she was a little more alert today. We did get a little setback today, as they discovered she has gall stones. The surgeon said that at her age they would only consider surgery if she were in a lot of pain, which she is not. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we continue this trend of GOOD news. Once again a big THANK YOU to all for your prayers and support.
