Asking for a raise

Sorry, I've been busy. We kept the meeting as planned. I think it went well. We discussed different things we can do for the experienced employees. We came up with a tier system, where the senior people who deserve to be on the top tier will go there and then work their way down to the other employees. That is besically what we were asking for. We also went over situations in our department where things could be changed. A couple of things they have been trying to get changed but the other managers won't budge and there were 2 other points we brought up that the changes are very doable and she thanked us for brainstorming with her. We'll see how long it takes for the changes to be put in to action.

I'm confused. Did you get a raise? Did you ask for one? Were you asking for changes in procedure (THAT I can understand presenting as a group) or policy?

Yes, we wanted the procedure changed basically. By moving me up to the top tier, I would get a significant raise. This is why we wanted to go in as a group, we weren't going in saying "I want a $5 raise, she deserves a $3 raise", that wasn't the plan.
