Asking for a Friend....What will it be like May 1/2?

Do you think it will be outrageously crazy or ????
She doesn't use the net - I told her I would ask. They have to be in the area for business but have May 1/2 open. She doesn't want to be doing long lines and would rather skip the experience than spend the days in line ups! I told her I think it might be crazy busy because the 50th starts on the 5th. Any predictions?
Also - what is the absolute cheapest way to get a 2 day hopper?

I would think the 2nd wouldn't be so bad. Everyone will be planning their trip for the 5th and later. Besides, how could anyone be near DL and not go??? Well that's how I think anyway.

Yah, I think that way too, but she will be back in the area in a few months time, so would rather plan to spend her money wisely. She is on a budget, so would rather get the most bang for her buck (ie: avoid the crowds where possible).

May 1/2 should be fine. If you happen to extend, remember that DL is closed on 5/4 (DCA is open).

The 5th itself is supposed to be great (maybe even bigger than 7/17?)
