Asking for a favor from Annual Passholders

Would somebody be willing to check annual passholder rates for the Portofino Bay Hotel, checking in Thursday, February 24, 2011, checking out Monday, February 28, 2011? If it matters, we could also check in Friday and check out Tuesday.

Two adults, no kids.

The package deal that we got from the Universal website was $1806, including two three-day single park tickets and no other add ons. Now that I've read the other thread about room rates, I'm wondering if becoming an annual passholder would be a good idea.

Thanks for any help or advice. It's our first trip to Universal.

You could check room rates by just selecting Promotion from the pull down and then inputting "APH" in the code box. You could book it, but if you do make sure you purchase the annual pass before you arrive in case they ask for it at check in.

There are no annual pass rates for that week. I am still hoping as that is when we will be down.

Those are our dates, too. I just got an AP rate tonight for $189 at the Royal Pacific for a standard room. Hope that helps! Portofino was showing $259 for the AP rate for the same time

No problem! I've been stalking the Universal website for weeks now, and I was so relieved when something finally came up last night.

That's great! Portofino is so gorgeous. It's our favorite hotel. (And Sal's is really yummy, and pretty reasonable. We ended up eating there three times on our last trip.)

We always eat at Sal's at least twice per vacation. I think it is our favourite restaurant at Universal.
