We have a very picky eater who will only want about 3 bites of what I am going to have.

Can we just pay a fee for an extra plate and not pay for a full meal that she won't eat?

I think this one is kind of tricky. At an order off the menu TS restaurant, guests can share plates for I believe no extra charge. At buffets, any guest over the age of 3 pays for a buffet. But since there is a buffett and you order off the menu, I'm not sure. I would call the dining line and ask.

Since Askerhaus is family style in part and buffet in part I don't think this will be allowed. If it was an order off the menu restaurant only then it would be different. Part of the cost is for the ability to network with the princesses -- it isn't all just about the food. :)

I think we are just going to have to change ADR's because this is such a different type of dining with part buffet and part off menu.

Tutto Itallia here we come instead. Thanks for the info.

I went here last June and they did not charge me for my daughter as she just ate off my plate. She was only 23 months at the time, but that may have been a fluke too.

If she is 3 years old or over and sits at the table, you'll be charged for her. Akershus charges per person, not per plate.

It is a sticky wicket because part is a buffet and main entree is of off the menu. So I called member services and the guy didn't know. He gave me the number to the restaurant but I must have written it wrong.

I am going to follow up in case someone else also has a very picky eater.
