The menu looks interesting is the food good for lunch or should I change it to b-fast. I am kinda picky. I picked lunch because it was almost the same price.

I ate there for lunch but it was about 2 years ago and didn't like it. But...love the breakfast!

The food is good but that's not the same question as whether or not you'd like it. It's very good quality Norwegian food. If you don't like Norwegian food, then you won't like it.

We went three years ago and did not care for it at all. I had the traditional meal which is like a meat loaf and it was extremely salty and yuck; DH had the braised lamb and did not care for it at all. The only thing we liked was the cold buffet prior to the entree (I would stick with breakfast).

We've eaten at Akershus for breakfast and dinner (many times)- the food was not good at either meals. So we are trying lunch on our next trip. I'm hoping it'll be better.

Anyways, we dine there because it's my daughter's favourite place to see the princesses.

But as someone mentioned, if you are picky, I would go for the breakfast. It's just the basic breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoe casserole (which is okay) and cold bar with fruit, and pastries).

Thanks I went ahead and will do b-fast but at 11:00. Hubby said menu looked gross. I don't think we are norwegian food people.
