I'm looking for suggestions on where to find the best rates for Moderate & Deluxe resorts for mid-December. I used to be able to just go through AAA for a 3-day holiday package -- it was stoooopid easy. Now I can't seem to find anything useful. It's more frustrating planning this quickie little trip than any long trip I've ever planned. Many thanks.

Sorry to say the days of ol are over...no more codes. A lot of hotels are starting to sell out - you may want to double check availability and see what your options even are.

This new promotion that started with the codes (its at the top of the budget board page) has brought in a lot of people.

If you want to book a package during December, there is a code available to the general public. It's YQD for a MYW package and YQE for MYW w/dining. It is good for most nights 10/23 - 11/20, 11/26 - 12/04, 12/10 - 12/25/05. Booking must be made by 10/22/05. Also, travel must be completed by 12/25/05.

Mousesavers also lists package code YQC on their website for a MYW package with the same dates. I got the YQD code from the Disneyworld website.

If you call AAA with the package codes, you might get a better price than you would by going thru Disney or another TA.

Good luck! The package codes came out almost two weeks ago and there were complaints about limited availability then.

You might have some luck now...deposits are due, and if people haven't gotten them in there will be rooms/dates becoming available. Never hurts to ask.
