Who are you surprising for your vacation?

How are you telling them?

We are surprising the boys. I've told them we are going to "get a hotel room with a pool" for one day with some of our friends (who are actually gifting us with this trip, bless them). It's a big deal to the kids because we've never been on vacation. We are driving down (we're in Alabama). We are leaving early in the AM, so I'm hoping they'll sleep until about lunch time. So the plan is, when we stop for lunch, I am giving them presents containing a custom "I'm on a surprise trip to Walt Disney World" tee shirt & a Birnaum's Guide for Kids. They are going to FREAK out. They talk about WDW all the time-their mantra is "when we win the lottery" . It is SO hard to keep the secret!

Alex is 12, & he is high functioning Autistic. Ethan is 10, Drew will be 9
July 7th, & Gunner is 3 1/2. We are also taking Amber, our 15 year old niece.

I have been twice, actually. Once when I was 12 with the band (to MGM, EPCOT, & MK), & once when I was 14 to MK. I am really excited about going back, because there is a lot of new stuff since I was there last. I am most looking forward to seeing the kids' reactions to the magic, though.
