Ask Me Anything Game: Ask JohnnySharp2 Anything

:wave2: Johnny ~ Are you having fun!

You mention The Bourne Identity as your favourite film. Is that the original staring Richard Chamberlain or the remake starring Matt Damon.

If nothing sticks to Teflon, how do they get the Teflon to stick?

Could you be a hitman?

Where do you stand on the death penalty issue?

Do you believe that a prisoner should have no rights once they are in prison?

Did you ever watch the Flumps?

Hi Florence, yes thanks

No the Matt Damon one, haven't seen the original I must admit.

It's because Teflon items are made using Fluoropolymer resin's that have high resistance to extreme temperatures, cracking and corosion.

Only if it were to eliminate my next door neighbour , right plonker he is , so the answer is 'yes'!

I think if the crime is severe, murder, rape etc then I am in favour of the death penalty - if the criminal didn't hesitate to take a life then we shouldn't with his or hers either.

yes and no, I think they should have rights yes, visitors, good clean facilities and cells but it shouldn't get too daft, they are in there for a reason and we should remember that.
Prison isn't meant to be a holiday camp after all. Discipline should be hard but fair.

I think I have caught the odd episode whilst searching on SKY , but have never actually sat and watched it no.

Johnny I know this question will probably make everyone blubber like crazy, but if you could give us one thoughtful piece of advice what would it be? :)

Don't judge people too quickly. Just because someone is disabled, either physically or mentally does not mean that they haven't got countless other qualities that shine through.
Just treat everyone with the same respect.

What was your favourite toy when you were a boy?
was there one particular toy you always wanted but never got?
what is you favourite 'toy' now?

Hi Carol,

Can I change my earlier room 101 answers? and put Carry On films in, cannot stand them just the thought of Barbara Windsor and that stupid cackle of a laugh.
Sorry don't have a favourite just one's I detest more than others.

I used to like Walkers Tomato Crisps but they don't do them anymore.
Seabrook 'salt n vinegar' I guess, I like Seabrook 'cos you get a full bag, the Walker's multi packs are a rip off.

Cashew nuts.

Pink Lady red apples.

Never, ever had a cocktail - boring aren't I?

Yes ;)

Hi Annmarie,

A Johnny7 gun, like an all in one machine gun/rocket launcher, it had everything and I loved it.

I was very lucky , cannot think of anything - my mum and dad always managed to get what I wanted somehow.

I used to collect die-cast buses (sad I know), and still have hundreds of them up in the loft, I look at them now and again so would have to say them really.
I loved toy cars when I was a lad, shame I used to play in the mud with them as some would be worth a lot of money now.

Hi Annmarie,

The computer, how else could people like us talk to one another and make friends too.
Not an invention, but when Josh was a baby I often wondered what we would do if talcum powder wasn't around, truly marvellous stuff that is.

Velcro, I hate the stuff and them little thin bits of plastic that hold the price tag on items of clothing.

Hi Johnny

Sorry it's taken me a while to get over and ask questions, stupid computer has been playing up.

As a fellow Liverpool supporter, I thought I would let you know that I did cry when we won the Champions League, plus we got to be on American TV as we were in the ESPN bar!

Who is your favourite current Liverpool player?

Are we going to beat PSV tonight?

Score prediction?

Which footballer would you love to sign for Liverpool?

Laur's princess:

Johnny thanks for being so open with us about Josh. Your love and devotion is always so obvious in your posts.

I would like to know whether you have been to London and if so what did you visit. If not would you like to visit

How did you find the Dis and did you lurk for a while before you joined

How is you are so knowledgeable about villas in Orlando

... and if your post count reaches 5,000 during this thread will you join us in a banana boogie

Laur's princess:

Hi Laur's, no worries my pc was playing up too yesterday evening.
ESPN bar is a great place to watch sport, I really like it there.

Jamie Carragher, just red through and through.

I think tonight will be a draw, if we can get an away goal then that's a good result for us I think.

1-1

I would love for us to sign David Villa of Valencia, he is the kind of player we need and have missed this season. Very similar to Kenny Dalglish I think.
Hopefully the takeover will give Rafa the funds to buy big in the summer.

Hello Johnny,

I've enjoyed reading through this thread.

Colin Murray - Radio 1 DJ and Liverpool fan recently sang Ring of Fire on Celebrity Fame Academy. He said he chose it because it means alot to Liverpool fans, particularly to do with the CL win over AC Milan. I listened to it but couldn't really "get it" as a football song. So, why this song? Do you change the words when you sing it?

Hi Jan,

It's the company I keep on here that let's me be so open - it's you I should be thanking. ;)

I love London, up until the last couple of years I have been virtually every year. My dad was born there and we often go in November, to the senetaph etc - just it can be a bit cold for Josh.
We are planning coming for a few days this summer actually, normally base ourselves around Windsor.
We like Covent Garden, the shops around there are very good and my mum likes the sunday market, there are many trenst stores I like there too, so it's a popular place for us, Petticoat Lane also.

Julie likes the big M&S on Oxford Street, and we all like Selfridge's too.

Have been to most of the museum's over the years and especially like the Imperial War Museum. Just like London generally , a lot of my family on my Dad's side have always lived there, many of them were and some still are Taxi drivers.
Phil Collins is a distant cousin of mine too.

I honestly cannot remember how I found the DIS, just surfing I guess.

The first villa rental we had was a disaster, booked off the owner's own 'out of date' website. The home was a disgrace, dirty and horrible, bed linen ripped, 3 piece suite all dirty, dead insects everywhere and the pool area was just enough to make you feel ill.
We had the place completely cleaned up but moved to another villa after a week.
So I am ultra fussy, have driven around many of the developments and ensure we get a newish , well maintained home - with Josh as well we have to be careful too.
Overall I guess I know a fair bit then because of the bad experience we had.

When I reach 5000? No chance, sorry ;)

Hi Joanne,

It's more the......
da da da da da daa daa daaaaaaaaa
we sing, it's the trumpet bit at the beginning and it's sort of a chorus too.

The actual full song is rarely sung by the supporters, but the actual words of the original are not altered when it is sung.
There is a spanish influence within the song we feel and that's why it was chosen.

Johnny Cash's version of 'Ring of Fire' was first adopted by Liverpool supporters travelling to away matches as long ago as 2002 but grew in popularity as the Reds trailed a blaze through Europe on route to the Champions League final in Istanbul.

Hi Nat,

I think was about 7 and it was a game in London when my dad and uncle took me, pretty sure it was a 0-0 draw between Chelsea and Manchester United. A lot of my relatives are from London and many are big Chelsea supporters.

I lived in Fleetwood for many years, and often go and watch them play, my mum and dad still live there. They are in Unibond Division 1, I think it's important to support your local team, but I have supported Liverpool since I was very young so it's not like I follow them because they are a good team.
I am only a couple of miles away from Blackpool and have a couple of mates who watch them regularly, so have been to see them many times too. Hopefully they can get promoted to League 1 this year.

At first a bit wary, the Dubai takeover seemed certain and one of the main people connected with them was a big Liverpool fan, so when it fell through at first I was a bit concerned.
However, I have a lot of faith in Rick Parry and David Moores so when George and Tom came forward I knew everything was being done in the clubs best interests.

I am totally behind them, they have said the right things, have travelled over to see a few of the games (they were there on saturday), can hopefully give Rafa the money to buy new players and most importantly the funding of the new ground. The club at present just do not have the scope to improve Anfield so it's vital we move to a new ground with a much higher capacity.
They start building work this summer.
