What kind of candy do you buy "only" for the Christmas season?

I used to buy my late DH ribbon candy every year.. Now we buy:

Raspberry filled hard candies
Large box of assorted chocolates
Chocolate covered marshmallow Santa's or Snowmen
Chocolate covered cherries

How about you? :santa:

Ribbon Candy
Peppermint Bark
Peppermint Sponge Candy

The list used to be really long, but I have been cutting it back each year, ribbon candy goes next year!

Lindor chocolate truffles by Lindt.

Do you dream in chocolate? Oh yes I do!

I don't eat candy but the food that says Christmas to me is Peppermint coffee. The best is only available at Publix in FL so I can't get it anymore but I have some at home.

The cherry Andes and the toffee Andes -- I only seem to find them at Christmas.

Also, fresh nuts in a bowl with a nutcracker. Seeing that on our end table growing up meant (to quote a Little Golden Book) that Christmas was REALLY here.

And Trader Joe's Wintry Blend coffee. YUM!!

I usually buy After Eight dinner mints and a box of Perugina for my Christmas Eve party.

I'm debating on whether to do a stocking for my son this year. He is a teen now, so I'm not sure I will, but if I do, I'll get a Sweet Storybook from Lifesavers, and M&Ms and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup tubes.

I only buy ribbon candy. I don't eat much candy so that kind of makes it really special.

Ferrero Rocher Chocolates.
Lindt Lindor White Chocolate Truffles
Hershey's Pot of Gold - Pecan Caramel Clusters
Hershey's Reese's Peanut Butter Trees.

Russell Stover Chocolates
Also the holiday themed bags of candy that carry several assorted candies.

Ribbon candy for DD
Lindt truffles in the big Costco pack
Frangos
Ghirardelli in the big Costco pack
chocolate covered marshmallow santas and snowmen for stockings
mint M&Ms
Dove chocolates in the big Costco pack

:rotfl: the Costco packs I buy and have enough for all year, especially to include in exchange packages and use them in stockings and advent calendars too....and I do eat them too ;)

Just remembered, we do get chocolate "oranges" ....dark chocolate for DH and me. DD got toffee and crushed peppermint this year.
Also chocolate covered cherries for DS.

Torrone. It's an Italian nougat candy. My mom would drive into Cleveland and buy it for when my great grandparents came in for Christmas.

A box of truffles
thin mints
Hersery pot of gold pecan clusters
chocolate covered cherries
kids get the gummy lifesaver books
nuts and nutcracker
assorted foil wrapped chocolates for candy dish, usually Dove

Aww...ribbon candy reminds me of my great-aunt. She always had it at her house when my brother and I visited when were little. That and the strawberry hard candies that were in the wrappers that looked like strawberries. :goodvibes

My mom always buys the red and green spice drops, the ones that taste like cinnamon and wintergreen, not the weird mutated fruity-flavored ones that are always such a nasty surprise when you bite into them!

Brach Peppermint Nougats ... which reminds me, I need to pick up a bag!
