We just got back from our first "family" vacation! (12/21-12/28) This was my DD's first trip to WDW and her first Christmas. She is 3 months old! Our trip started at Memphis International airport and things went smoothly there. We took our BIG graco stroller and that went throught the X-ray machine nicely. We gate checked it as well. As soon as we boarded the plane we gave Ashley some benedryl (Dr suggestion) and I guess it worked well. She slept through the whole flight and even through changing planes in Charlotte! We arrived in Orlando on time and were greeted by Cartier Towncar service! Right on time and very helpful! We made a stop at Publix for diapers and drinks, then on to CSR. We checked in around 2:00 pm and our room was ready. I walked with the stroller and my husband took the pargo ride to our room!Whew! what a walk...we were in Casita 5. I had no idea where that was or I would have asked to switch! Very far from the food/shops. Oh well. We headed off to DTD and shopped for a bit. Having to tear down the stroller was a HUGE pain. Even if she aws sleeping and we were the only ones on the bus we had to tear it down. I didn't know we had to do this. The bus transportation was very slow. I heard a few guests say that they must have cut some buses because it was slower than their previous trips. The parks were not overly crowed and Ashley enjoyed looking at everything. She slept an amazing amount of time. It seems that right after she would eat , she aws sleeping. I think it may have been brain overload for her. She loved the characters and most of them held her for pictures. It was so nice to have them ooh and ahh over her. I used the baby care centers quite often and found them very helpful when trying to nurse and change Ashley. The one in the Animal Kingdom was the best! Also there were a few companion restrooms located throughout the parks that I used, that worked okay. I will post food reviews on that page. I will go into the resort in more detail on that page as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that taking Ashley at 3 months was a breeze...she was wonderful to have there and I am so glad we took her. I know it would have been a little easier at a less crowded time of year, but you can't beat a Disney Christmas especially for your 1st Christmas.

All in all it was a good trip my DH did get food poisoning from the Pepper Market at CSR which I will talk about on the restuarant page.

Oh...I posted questions about stroller theft and breast pumps previous to our trip. We took a bicycle lock for the stroller and had no problems. Also my breast pump went through security with no problems.

Any questions?

Sounds like you had a great first trip - and it is now time to start planning the next trip - thanks for posting!
