Saw your trip dates in your title, and wanted to drop by and say Hi! We'll be at Disney May 27-June 2.Looking forward to reading more!
I kept a trip journal last time and it came in so handy when I went to write my trip report here on the DIS. I used a small 4x6 size that I could keep in my purse. Whenever we were standing in a slow moving line, or sitting down to wait for a show, I'd pull it out and jot down some notes.
Oh my goodness, I really need to subscribe to my own PTR. I missed this awhile ago. I have been reading your PTR, I love reading about your family, they sound precious. Thanks for reading along. It will be our first time to travel in May/June so we're a bit anxious to see how it will go.
I have been terrible at keeping this updated. I started back to school in February, and to catch up on my hours have been taking accelerated courses. So things have been kind of nuts, anytime I sign onto the Dis and think I am going to update, my husband or my accounting books give me a neglected look. I havent really mentioned this on this PTR, but last November I had surgery to have two discs in my spine shaved, which had been pinching my sciatic nerve. Well finally during the past couple of months I had experienced a drastic improvement, and have been trying to use this opportunity to swim and go for long walks so I can get back to feeling like my old self again. I want to be able to enjoy this trip as much as possible!
We went ahead and bought our souvenirs for our trip while the Disney Store was having a sale. Just for fun I thought I would post our new park gear.

And I bought a couple of vinylmations thinking I would start trading, but I love the ones I got! We now have an Abraham Lincoln and Zoot from the Muppets.
Drew doesnt really know what to think of them. He said if we were to start collecting them we need to have a characteristic to look for. So we agreed were only going to keep vinylmations that have hats

I have finished our mini-planner for our trip, and our itinerary. Were planning to arrive at the parks that open at 8, and stay for a couple of hours then leave when it becomes crowded. This led me to research renting a car. I found a pretty good deal through enterprise. After taxes and fees well spend about $90 for seven days. I am pleased! I present to you our chariot

Drew about died laughing when I told him this was the car we reserved. I thought it looked kind of cute and fun.

I hope to post our actual itinerary before the end of the week, possibly by the end of the evening. Sorry I am such a slacker, but if I am trying to finish up school before next tax season!
