Ashamed to admit ...

Astro-Orbiter. Every time I go, the lines look too long for what it looks like it actually does. However, I rode that Aladdin carpet ride during my last trip and was pleasantly surprised at how much fun that was.

I did Astro Orbiter this time because DS really wanted to, and wow, that thing has a major tilt. I thought it would be like Dumbo or the Carpets, but it has a serious tilt inward. I thought we would fall out if not for the g force! This is a not miss for me from now on. Also, the views are great.

:thumbsup2 We are surely gonna miss this ride this June! The breeze is great too!

I rode Peoplemover for the first time on my last trip in Dec. I could have stayed on it for a few more trips too. So nice to sit and pretty at night! Will be a not miss for me on future trips for sure. I have never done Astro Orbitor, Aladdin's carpet, Captain EO, Ellen's Energy or Figment. I totally agree with the PP about getting time back spent riding Stitch. Oh that smell is atrocious!

Actually ashamed of this one though.....Hall of Presidents!!! The last two trips I've said "we need to do this" to a resounding "no!" from the whole family!

My DH has had some nice naps here! :lmao: It's cool, dark and he gets to be still more than 5 minutes. That is all it takes....until I have to wake him for snoring! :rotfl2:

Ive never been in the hall of presidents. And I still haven't met Ariel in new fantasyland. That's it for MK.
At EPCOT i've never seen the circle of life show inside the land. Or done Ellen's Energy thing. And i've never stepped foot inside the building in the America pavilion. Just gotten food the the QSR. I have no idea whats even in the rest?! gah
At Studio's I've never seen the Indiana Jones show. Sadly.
At animal kingdom I never saw festival of the lion king. I have no idea why I didn't. I don't think I've even been walking around the tree of life either. We always head straight to Asia or Africa.
I'm a Disney local and spend more than enough time in the parks, I think its just a matter of habit. We go to the parks to do what we know and love and rarely stray from it until something new opens up.

I've never made it over to Tom Sawyer island...or went for a ride on the Liberty Belle riverboat.

I have to add my name to never done the teacups and never will, I wont ever do dumbo or similar ones to that as they go in a circle and that also makes me sick. All other rides that I have missed I keep saying that I will give them a go, will have to wait and see how many more I cross off the list next holiday.

There's absolutely no shame.

This is a theme park. You go on the rides you want to go on, and skip those that don't appeal.

I don't like spinny rides-- teacups, Primeval Whirl-- or ones that involve going backwards or upside down. So I also pass on Tower of Terror and probably a few others.

Kali Rapids. All that smelly water being stuck on me. No thanks. Oh, and Indiana Jones show.

I took our DS on his 5th trip out to Tom Sawyer Island. He likes army, and cowboy and indian, movies, and has learned about cap and bb guns. He picked up the rifle and it made the little shot noise and that moment on his face, sheer excitement because he thought he was in a Western, made that hot, sticky day on that island worth it. Try it. It's really neat if you grew up with the movies.

For those of you who don't want to get wet on Splash Mtn. and Kali River Rapids....put on your poncho. In the summer with the weather you probably have it with you anyway! ;)

At MK:
Barnstormer - My DS6 has not wanted to try it and I didn't think it was worth waiting just for me, hopefully we'll get on it this trip.
Tea Party - I don't like spinny, but may give in this trip.
Astro Orbiter - keep wanting to try and never seem to get to it.
Regal Carousel - No interest from anyone in my family, but may add it this time ust to say I've done it.

At EP:
Mission Space (Orange) - Simulators make me a bit nauseous, so I've never bothered trying it. We just do green.

At DHS:
Legend of Jack Sparrow - New/wasn't there last time we were, will probably try next trip
Beauty and the Beast Show - Not a big draw for anyone in my family.
American Idol Experience - My DH loathes the show, so I don't put him through it, but I may try it next trip since he's not coming along.

At AK. There's a lot at this park we haven't done, simply because we don't spend as much time there. It tends to be our least favourite and we seem to opt to leave early for pool time from this park more than any other.
Flights of Wonder - I really want to see this show and making it a priority for our upcoming trip.
Rafiki's Planet Watch and all it's attractions - Again, something I think we would probably enjoy so making it a priority for our upcoming trip.
Primeval Whirl - Too spinny, just no, not gonna happen.
Expedition Everest - This one kills me, because I love coasters, but it wasn't there on trips we did pre-DS and trips with him he's been too small/afraid so far. Once I can convince him to try it, I'll be on that one for sure.
Tricera Top Spin - If I can get DS out of the boneyard at some point, maybe we can give this a try.

I am not totally ashamed about this, but I have never ridden Toy Story Mania despite having been 3 times since it opened. The lines have always been just way too long, even on low crowd level days (we go in September). We're gonna make it happen this year with FP+. :thumbsup2

OT, but I am ashamed to admit that I've never seen Sleeping Beauty. Cannot wait for it to come out on BluRay this fall. princess:

sorry if wrong place but I thought this would be fun:

What ride/attraction are you ashamed to admit you have never been on??

For me, it's the People Mover. I don't know why, I just have never done it. Hope to change that next trip but have never seen it in action.

Space Mountain...ever since the first time i went (9 years old), i haven't been a huge ride person. I dont like that I cant see what the roller coaster looks like!! Although next trip I might brave it out.

I am in the same boat as you with TSM -- last time, son wasn't too keen on 3d glasses so no point in waiting if he wasn't going to enjoy it anyway. This time it's a must do for sure though :-)

And just to clarify for all (not you), maybe ashamed wasn't the correct word. I was just trying to be funny. I meant it in the line of like an iconic ride that you've just never done for one reason or the other. That was me with people mover. I wasn't calling anyone out. Some people seemed to think I was. :flower3:
