Just got back in the room and even though I am tired decided to type the report up before bed.
We had a bit of a lie in before heading off to Universal, stopping at IHOP on the way. Those of you that love their pancakes will be gutted to know that they are currently doing the 'all you can eat pancakes' offer. Not that I can eat that many of them even though I love them!!!! Both DH and myself had a Breakfast Sampler, with our eggs over medium/hard - lol!!
Another lovely sunny day, although it was a bit chilly when the sun went down!
We arrived at Universal and it was fairly quiet. We managed to do all of the big rides at IOA and then we walked over to Universal to do Disaster. The updates that they have done make this attraction really really good. We both enjoyed it. Not to give much away but don't be afraid to volunteer at the beginning of the show, it will be worth it.
Jimmy Neutron was a 5 min wait so we jumped on and then Shrek 4D was starting as we left JN, so we watched this also. On exiting Shrek, my best pal was there, the Noble Steed' DONKEY!!!!!! I gave him a kiss and asked how the Dronkeys were? He told me Dragon was looking after them as well as Shrek & Fiona's babies.
We walked over to Jimmy Buffets for a couple of margaritas for me and coke for DH. Those Ruby Red Ritas are scrummy!!!!
On the way out of City walk we couldn't resist a Cinnabon and DH and I shared an original.
We headed over to Disney stopping at a restaurant called 'The Carving Station' at Palm Parkway, LBV. It was $24.99 each plus drinks, DH tried King Crab Claws - it was like big 'Grinch fingers/hand' on his plate - UURRGGGHHH!! He said it was OK but wouldn't have it again. There was us and 3 other couples in there and to be honest it wasn't great - we wont be going back I'm afraid!!
We went over to Epcot at about 8:15 and got a spot at World Showcase for my favourite show Illuminations. Why does this show always make me cry???? On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Walgreens in LBV that has a Liquor store attached to it, as we had seen a bottle of Triple Sec for $6.99, its about £12 in the UK!!
As I said at the beginning, we are back in the room, DH has got some Landsharks out and thinking of doing some packing as we are flying home on Sunday - booooooooooooooo!! I DONT WANT TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow - Last Full Day - Epcot & the Pirate & Princess Party
