Spent some time on the WL thread last night. Wow, Kook, you did a nice job! Thinking about the first week in January WL CL, but that darn GF calls my name. I need to find out more about what will be going on with the construction. They are talking about expanding Sandy Cove and Gaspirallis, but not sure when. Don't want to be at the GF thenI am sure Kook can give me the push I need for the WL!

Today was full of change decisions. I think we've got things worked out, and now we're at the Beach Club in Nov.I'm committed, I even changed the ticker.
I'd love to do November. Your weather'll be lovely. I'm not sure why we're stuck in this September rut. We must have a thing for potential hurricanes and torturous heat. Also, I think because of your name I was thinking of like Queen Amidala or something...
(Don't get me started on those movies, ) Hmmm, October vs. December? That's a toughie. We've never done December since we've been doing the "Halloween" thing for the past two years, I must say it's enticing though.

You have me pegged perfectly, I am nosy and frequently check up on the DIS from my iPhone when I'm waiting in lines or for DD... BTW, there is a new iPhone DIS app. for posting and viewing.I'm in agreement with Kook...all the construction at GF kinda throws the whole vibe. (I got some pictures...are you shocked??) We went over while we were at WDW. I couldn't believe it! The entire lake view by the pool is completely blocked. I can't imagine looking at that blockade while swimming. Dont' get me wrong...if DH said he booked a week at GF, I would have the bags packed tomorrow!

.....stay at the Poly Maybe the lodge are better for when your litle one is 3 and you need 2 rooms. I guess I just wish we fit into a Poly/GF room...only 1 room Just being selfish...lodge split would be greatBut if you had to pick between the twoNo Poly TPV CL??!!!! Final ticker huh?Everytime I make a reservation I have to fax my dh's ID. The last time I forgot, and they called me and told me not to worry about it. They know me and could get it off one of my other reservations.
Seriously guys this is my final ticker for my last 2012 trip. 10 nights in Dec with an even split between WL CL and BC CL. No October trip. I really wish the 2013 rates were not coming out next week. I'm not ready to go down that road yet.

Good luck to your DD, that's gotta be scary. Some kids love the attention, some don't. Sweet though she can walk with big sis....The rehearsal went ok....DD5 decided not to walk down the aisle and to just stand there and cry instead (shocker)
But, she insists that she will do it tonight, and they've changed it so that she will be walking down with DD8 now, instead of the other flower girl. Fingers crossed she just walks down that aisle!!!! They are positioning me in the front corner closest to where she walks down so it's like she's walking to me....
The Wl is a nice resort. I don't like the size of the rooms. It's a little tight with four people. The resort is also little secluded for me. I like to be in the middle of the action a little more. What I do like is the big hot tub, the walk or jog to the campgrounds, the restaurants, and the lobby. It's not the GF, but you can probably stay CL at WL for the same price as a GV at GF. It will be our 19th anniversery when were there. Maybe next Dec RPC for number 20.

I completely understand the pull of your favorite resort. Can you do a split?
I feel that with all the construction, obstructed views, closed spa, walls that are up, the pool area rehab, possible QS rehab, etc... your old friend, the GF, might not seem the same then. I feel there might be so many distractions and possible monorail interruptions again that it might detract from your overall enjoyment.
All of the WL rooms will be like new for your visit. Remember the rocking chair view photo you posted during your last trip? That could be in you in January! So peaceful and tranquil and just perfect weather for leisurely walks to FW and sitting in front of a cozy fireplace posting to the DIS
I think it's time for you to book WL and see what you've been missing - you will love the Old Faithful Club and you'll feel relaxed and happy every time you look out at Bay Lake and the geyser and sit in a cozy leather sofa or overstuffed chair

I've got my "Beach Club" wax tart baking to take away the bacon smell before the plumber arrives. Ahh, I remember the days of diapers when the inevitable grunting would start right as someone was knocking on the door: "Hey, welcome to my home! Don't mind the funk, I really try not to do it when company is here."
Our shiny new fridge comes later today... what could go wrong, eh? Actually, I don't wanna think about what could go wrong...

Dec it is. Dh wants Dec. All I wanted was somebody to tell me what to do. Seriously it's like pulling teeth to get a response other than "whatever you want is fine". Whenever I talked about October he wasn't into into it...so why is it so hard for them to just say what they want to do. Men.

) and now I'm panicking. They said my 2nd room was cancelled this morning and to call CRO if I had any questions.

That happened to me once, we were auto cancelled because the CM didn't take a deposit for both rooms, only one. You should have it on your reservation (guaranteed connecting for families) I know nothing is really guaranteed. Thank goodness IPO caught the 2nd room being cancelled so you can fix it...but I agree...I just was emailing with WL IPO to make sure I can get connecting rooms (if this sticks

I have had many incorrect deposit auto-cancels! Now I usually just tell them what they need to collect.
I'm PIF for both of these ressies so I'm not sure what is going on. On hold now. The CM told me that there is no way to have 2 rooms booked under 1 ressie, and I know that isn't true so.....
