It is official. Cali Grill closes on January 6th. I really wanted to eat there one last time before it closes. Why can't it close at the end of the day on the 6th? I don't want to go a day early and pay extra for the weekend as well as be apart of bigger crowds.

I'm happy that I can make reservations for BoG in late August and that it will be quick service so if I do decide to do FD, then I can use my credits for that. I'll probably do just QS because I won't be doing any TS meals.

Happy 4th everyone! Hope you have a fun day planned. It is HOT here already. My kids are coming home sometime today and then going back to the lake in the morning with grandma. My youngest lost a tooth yesterday so I am excited to see it! I need to work on cleaning out and organizing my scrapbook room and I am going to start as soon as dh gets up. I have been putting it off forever and the room is a total wreck. Then we might all take in a movie this afternoon. I said Brave or Madagascar 3. Dh really wants to see M3 so that is what it will be if we go.

I heard that fall free dining is being released next week. Of course it is happening while we are out of town for a dance competition eek! I am currently booked coming in on Sept 29 but would love to push it to 10/2. I still have my heart set on DLR this year instead but I think I will go ahead and change the WDW reissue and make some ADRs. I have to find a better deal on airfare or a room discount before DLR is in the cards.

I've been MIA lately as the 1st anniversary of my dad's passing is tomorrow. It's hard to swallow seeing so many wonderful plans for celebrating for the 4th while I lurk around in my quiet funk

I've been reading about others going through hard times too. Big hugs for all of you who need them!

Today, to cheer myself up, I ditched YC and booked our whole August trip at the Poly TPV CL! My birthday is August 11th, so it's a little belated pressie for myself

We saw Brave on the ship....very good! The kids (and me) really enjoyed it. It's hot here, too GA summers can be a bit grueling!

We haven't been to Cali grill yet because I have been too stingy with my dining credits. I know it is a place we would love. So did you hear that BOG is available to make ADRS in Aug? Do we know for sure when it is opening?

We love CAG, but even when we were using a DDP (which we don't anymore - we use TIW) we always would pay out of pocket for it. Using two TSC for it isn't a good use of the credits, (frankly, the two TSC meals are never a good value compared with the one TSC meals). I recommend trying it in August and paying OOP.

I haven't seen an opening date for BOG yet, just that it will open in late 2012. It should be VERY popular and I think it's a great idea to have it be a QS for lunch and a TS at dinner. It's not open for breakfast, right?

We are actually physically checking into to our hotel on the coast tomorrow night for the wedding on Friday, so I'll be checked into two hotels at once.

Once this wedding is over, I've got some serious Disney packing to start!

I have to run by Bob . I tried yesterday but he was in one of those non listening moods grrrrrrrrrrrr . I would just upgrade to DxDP since with the regular DDP we will have to pay OOP for breakfast or lunch but he does not want to as it is too much food and being tied down to ADRs I did the math and it will only be $55 more than what we were paying without the FD. Good thing I have a week to think about this

My plans are very Poly-centric with a cabana, Ohana for breakfast and dinner, and a Kona lunch. DH and the kids are set and it's by far my favorite of all resorts we have tried. Just say NO!... right?

I think I need to make a reservation and do exactly what you said - pay out of pocket. My 2 oldest will probably end up splitting an app and an entree so it would definitely be a waste of 4 adult credits for them. I really want to try some of the sushi and it would be oop anyway. Happy 4th of July to my American friends!

I am still double guessing myself about the cabana rental for my discovery cove day, but since my BFF is not a strong swimmer, I think we should keep it so she has somewhere to rest if she wants, and having a home base if it is very hot and sunny will be nice.

I went to see Brave the other day, it was very cute, and I enjoyed it very much!

It has been nice and cool here the last couple days, but it's supposed to get up into the 30's celcius this weekend! yuck! I Hate heat , may have to go get a portable air conditioner if it gets too bad! And Here I am going to Disney end Sept! guess I'm praying for a break.....but if not, I've been before in Sept and survived (sept 1-12, 2009).....so we will do it again

Originally I was going to do BC without the CL, and I made a comment to the CM that CL would be way more than WL CL, and she said don't be so sure...I'll check....and it was only 80 dollars more

I'll give it a -- I was spoiled by BC CL last year. I know it's not the "most loved" of CLs but we just had a really nice time there. Probably more to do with SAB and the "feel" of that area: walking to Epcot, DHS and our nightly strolls over on the Boardwalk.

And funnel cakes on the BW I don't even mind if the CL isn't great, we will have SAB and free drinks in the heat to bring down...all good

I forgot to congratulate you on your new, better-for-family life job!!! Good for you, you deserve some time to breathe, and surf the Dis boards, make a meal or two, and just have a less-stressful work week! I hope you love your job!

It's my first night off training..here I am on the Dis waiting for something to do.....BTW I think a Cabana will be awesome at DC!!! 9pm fireworks maybe I can see them from here!!! Nervous that I may get a job hard to handle. But I'll just breathe, the morning will come, I will do the best I can!

I don't think my positive WL vibes have gotten through to anyone but Candace. I think Jeanette has taken the boat from WL to the CR and hopped on the monorail to Epcot where she walked way back to the IG and walked right into the BC.....and never looked back

This has been a really crappy week for you this week and even though I always try to make you feel a tinge of guilt about always canceling WL, I want you to know that I want you to do what makes you happy, even if it's only for a few minutes or a day or two. I think its therapeutic and even though I only play a Dr. on TV, I recommend you make changes as often as needed

I hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July! It was nice to see my family today. We usually grill at my grandparents' place, but since they moved to a retirement home, one of my uncles decided to host it. He usually hosts Labor Day and Memorial Day as well. My gramma does not miss cooking at all nor does she really miss the house either. I believe yesterday was the first day she cooked in 2 months and all she did was make hot fudge for today. She was pretty happy about it.

Corey and I went back to Kays yesterday to look at the ring and one of the others we really liked. The one we took a picture of is still my absolute favorite. We also figured out my ring size so now he doesn't have to guess.

Mom still doesn't want to book early because she thinks the resorts won't sell out because January is a slow time, but I told her that the LM rooms are new and going to be super popular and that they have sold out for most dates between its opening and the end of the year. She said to talk to her on the 11th when the packages are released. So to make my chances better for getting a room booked that early, I am not going to talk to her about Disney 'til the 11th! It will be hard, but that's what you and DBF are for, right?

BoG will open in time for the holidays so I'm really excited to try it once reservations are open at the end of August! Good thing I receive the Disney Blog in my email every day so I can know what the actual date will be. I'm still very disappointed that I won't be able to eat at the Cali Grill. I will miss it by one day! I'm pretty excited about trying out the dining plan if FD is offered during my dates. I think QS will be best for me since the only TS meal I would probably eat is BoG for dinner.

Has anyone been to P.F. Changs before? It's been recommended for me and DBF to go to for our 3 year anniversary. I hear it's good and wanted your opinions!

This has been a great 4th. The high today was 80 degrees with off and on rain. If you lived in Phoenix you would realize how great this truly is. Our highs have been above 105 since mid May.

Pas I am booked at BC Cl in October. Should we pinky swear on this.There is nothing else available that week because of the Gartner convention so I'm safe.

Ok so I did a little changing on this beautiful rainy day. I was missing my Dec trip so I decided to do 2 6 night trips. One in Oct and one in Dec. Instead of one long trip in Oct. I have never gone to Orlando for less than 9 days so will see if these trips grow. BC cl in October and a WL Cl/BW CL split in Dec. I'm actually excited to stay at WL CL in December. Wl cl seems like a much better fit in Dec than in October.

Ok I think I'm done.

BTW- We went to see spiderman 3D today. Great movie. I give it two
