I know...this is just disgusting. Makes me sick to my stomach, and like others have said before, if this is what he does in public, what does he do behind closed doors??

Very true, Jenny. It is sickening and he thinks saying he is a Dr makes it okay??? The poor child was even in a stroller...what the heck could he possibly have been doing that was so awful! Not that anything he could have done deserves abuse...but it sounds like this poor child might have just been having a typical Disney meltdown...heartbreaking.

Thank goodness, Disney security was on top of it and called the police as well as an interpreter. The only possible consolation is that he was arrested...but my fear is that he will take it out on the child... soon the family will be back home in Italy where the abuse will continue.

I have a huge soft spot for children. My heart breaks when I think of the ill treated children in this world. I think of how I would feel to be a poor defenseless child treated to maliciously. It just isn't fair.

pas, I am just so sad to hear you are in a "dark place". I know it seems like the world is falling out from under you, but usually when things are at their darkest things seem to turn around. It has been a long grueling day, but I finally have some good news. I heard back from the doctor five minutes ago and Lily's platelets have increased from 56,000 to 183,000! So far, so good. We will get her SED rate back in the morning. I am so impressed by this doctor. She called me at 11:45 at night just to give me results. What a fantastic, caring doctor. She has been very thorough, and as a bonus she is a Disneyphile. They own DVC at OKW!

Thank you for all your prayers, well wishes, and pixie dust. I haven't been posting but I have been reading and your kind words have gotten me through this last week. I love you all immensely.

This is exactly what I needed to read today! And no wonder....a DVC owner Sis I am so glad Lily has such a sweet Dr....too bad the office staff leaves some to be desired.. but heck..LILY is healthy...and will be visiting her Auntie Jeanette at WL very very soon

I posted on the WL thread yesterday, then I realized I never announced my changes For DH and I, we are staying at WL CL (after the 1st night at Sports) but I am looking at Sugarloaf...but for the same price I can get Poly....ugh!

HRH LOVES the sticker I can't go to GF without her...I called to check availability for her birthday (for 1000 I can get airfare for the rest of the crew) but IDK if its worth it to spend all that $$ for 3 nights. BWI is booked up, which is her resort of the day Trying to talk her into November. I was talking about the new job with some girls at work who said 6 months I'll be bored...but I can go to school online...surf the Dis...sleep....this might be a nice change

And yes, I'm hanging my head in shame because I declared several months ago that I was NOT changing resorts. Unfortunately, my bank account disagreed with me. We're now staying in a Royal Room at POR. Looking very forward to the Royal Room, not so much looking forward to the POR busses.

Haha! It was on the second page when I was looking for it, but luckily I brought back to its proper place on page one.

Hannah, just want to give you a heads up about Best Friends 2 Disney - I've read a LOT of bad reviews from very caring people who only wanted the best for their furbaby. You'll find good reviews too, but based on the bad ones I would never entrust my furbaby them. I had to say something because I know how much you care....and she has been through so much already.

Oh no! That is so sad to hear! I guess that won't happen now. I totes forgot she has medicine she needs to take every day because she has cancer and if they forget even just one day and something happened to her I would freak out! I would never resort to suing, but I would be so tempted to because of how much she means to me. Thanks so much for telling me. She is much better off at home where she will definitely get the love and care she needs.

I guess the closest thing she will get to WDW is the Best Friends Pet Care Treat Truck that I will be going to in a few hours. They will be across from my old high school so it will be fun. I'm sure they will find her sneezing trick to be amusing. I love showing that trick to people. They find it so cute and funny.


SO happy your furbaby is doing well.

I am so glad too. She acts like normal for the most part. It hurts that she has a rare form of cancer, but I love her and spoil her every day like the princess she is and pray that she lives at least another year or two.

I am so excited to make my ADRs in a week! I will only get to make one ADR since you can't make any reservations for BoG, but one is better than none! And who knows. I may make more or change them. I need to figure out where DBF and I are going for our three year anniversary at in two months. I want to go somewhere nice. DBF asks if I wanted to go somewhere "Outback nice" and while I absolutely love Outback, I want to go somewhere nicer. Of course in hopes for a proposal, but it's our three year anniversary. We need to step it up. DBF has been selling stuff for work so he's been making extra money on the stuff he sells. I think he sold a client a new AC and he made like $500 off that and he made like $1000 off the side job he did for his friend whose house burned down. He wants to put some of it toward his motorcycle, but I want him to put it all toward bills so he can get out of debt faster.

Hi Casey!!! Did you check out Deena's TR, the POR Royal rooms look awesome. We are booked there too....date changes, and possibly resort changes coming though....I switched from RPC to keep the BB...I hear ya with the buses. Brand new rooms though When you check out the TR..DO NOT look at the Poly pics

Just wanted to let you know that we are home back in NH!!!
We had a very nice visit to my mom's and my new nephew is just adorable! I'm glad we went down now instead of August like I was planning, he would have changed sooo much!

Thanks so much for the link to Deena's TR! Those pictures are just what I needed! It's not the Poly, nothing ever is, but it's going to be great, especially with no Hyde this time. He couldn't get leave. Or, at least that is the story now. If I wait a few weeks you never know what will happen. Once again though, I have no plane ticket for him so if he decides at the last minute to join us again, he's on his own.
