Hi!! Just thought I would join. I am a resort, adr, total vacation planner changer. I am obsessed. I think my husband thinks all I talk about is Disney. We leave in a few days and I am mostly happy with my choice of resort. Every so often I think I should change...but nope. I am being good. (trying to anyway!) I am really hoping to book at BB while we are there for Aug. We already have a room booked at AOA but Dh isn't really thrilled with that. He wants BLT, or YC, or BWI. I am hoping something is still available for our dates on the BB. If not, I know we will still change. He isn't a value guy. There are so many of us though, makes it hard to find a good fit. A 2 bedroom villa at BLT would be a dream come true. I go back and forth all the time trying to decide on the perfect place to stay. Anyway. Just wanted to say hi!

Chimo2u, Late Sept/early October has been one of the hottest and most humid times we've visited....and we've been April, May, July, August, November, December, Jan, Feb and March! Late September was horrible! I'm sorry. Best to be prepared - would be worse to expect cooler weather and be shocked by the heat. Do hope it is unusual and at least a bit more comfortable.

Totally exhausted, and over stimulated by family stuff. We are officially a 2 dog house now.... we went up there with 1, and my 10 year old that lives up there came back with us It will be quite the adjustment, and I'm just not sure either one of us is up for it--but what are ya gonna do There wasn't much of a choice with everything that's happening there right now.

DH is mad we're missing SWW, but work is mandatory for Mother's Day weekend, so I told him I was sorry. I think I'm done with May trips. I said that last year, but somehow forgot. It's too hot and miserable. I'm hoping I survive September. I can't wait to tell you all about it But I'm going to make you wait till morning!

I've already been pricing trips since I've been back. We blew through most of our money and didnt have enough to put down for a deluxe resort bounceback---now I'm kicking myself. I would say that we will be on the monorail somewhere for sure when AP discounts come out!

I'm going to settle in! Be back in the morning!!

Yes. Last September, I had a touch of heat stroke after only 1/2 day at animal kingdom!!

Truth be told (god forbid DH read this), this is the dream anniversary/birthday trip I had envisioned...but to plan or book it up front seemed like a lot of $$$. Yeah, we're spending the same amount of money, but our trip has been paid off for quite some time, so just throwing $250 at the reservation to get CL didn't seem like a big deal...it just took all the steps in between to get to this point.

Candace, I'm very happy for you all And CL is a great idea and special on top of everything else. So much fun you will all have!

Okay so I'm set on my resort ressies now but I'm still having an internal debate about location at AoA. Right now I'm booked at Finding Nemo which DH and I prefer. The kids don't know we're going there but caught me looking at pictures and both expressed an interest in the Lion King room. I've seen a good map on here somewhere and it looks like although Lion King is further away from the main building and doesn't have a pool in its courtyard it would be closer to the bus stop yet not too far from the pool or food court. Now I'm thinking I should call and switch it. Think I might still wait until FD is announced for Nov and make 1 call (fingers crossed it applies to us). Ugh. Another decision to make.

Tulles, hoping that history will repeat itself for you for FD in November. We like the Lion King suites too, and DD really liked the Cars theming ..). The Lion King section is sort of in the same place as the 70s is at POP if you are familiar with that resort. So, yes, it might be slightly closer to busing and the Animation Hall (depending on your room location).

Deena, home!!! (sorry it was so stinkin' hot, we traveled the first week of May in '06 .. our first visit to the World ... and we were amazed at the heat too!!)

jenny: Last August, HAD to be one of the hottest (which carried over to Sept). We were in AK on that trip and EVEN me, the one to usually wants to stay in the parks the longest, couldn't wait to get back to the resort!!


Marie: We absolutly LOVE WPE!!! We say its a TS in a QS category.

All this talk about it being so HOT in September/October makes me happy I decided not to go then. I have been only 3 times that I would say the weather was pleasant, end of January, last week of March, and my last trip, the first week of March. Hopeing to add end of November/beginning of December to that list.


No changes to WL CL still tempted but BWI just seems about the perfect place to stay since other than MVMCP at MK, most of what we want to do is over at Epcot and DHS.

My boss is at it again. I really feel like he's discriminating against me because of my weight. I know that sounds so silly but comments he has made and the way he treats the younger, thinner girls really gives me a gut feeling. Last night he reprimanded me the way a father talks to his child. When I got home I cried for hours because I could hear the disgust in his voice for me. He was seething at me. It was SO demeaning. I haven't even done anything wrong. I'm following what the company has posted in its policy. Sorry to bother you guys with this, but it's really upsetting me. I don't know how to handle it.

My AKL trip is almost here! Very excited, but today is get packed, and get through that every growing to do list.

I love reading about other posters trip ideas, restaurant suggestions. Lots of helpful thoughts and advice on this thread.

Other fun news, I think it may work out that we'll get back to WDW for a day or two in Nov. One last trip around F&W, combined with a Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert, who can say no to that?

Sorry to hear your Boss is being such a jerk. It has been my expierence some superiors once they see they can upset a workers can take it to the extreme.

All I can say is the sexual harassment laws are on your side back in the day I was not so fortunate. Dani I have seen a couple members of management shown the door so fast their heads spun.

As far as taking the both kids alone to Disney, I think it would be hard with Lily being so young noyt to mention exhausting ans stressful.

I am SO sorry sis... 2 words for HR...hostile workplace (or even worse sexual harrassment) If it feels wrong...IT IS WRONG! Start documenting EVERYTHING!!!

I just told DH that IF we did the cruise, if we don't enjoy it...DONE! We never have to do one again. This is after I already told him this morning we should not do it, maybe 3 - 5 years from now. He then told me to seek help, I am seriously in the head, and find a group called over planners anonymous.

POP is perfect! Great for you and DH since you will be on the go-go-go!!! .....I hope HRH and you can come to a “agreement” on your girls' trip!

She told me she is happy and that is what she wanted....asked about MNSSHP, she said NO! I thanked her for her input but the resort for HRH...Poly KKC She's killing me

I hope, for my TA's sake, that I am finally done changing, I mean "planning" our next trip. We started out at AoA, then changed to POFQ and finally ended our planning at WL. I finally feel like we are at the right place, so hopefully there will be no more changes, but there is still over 3 months......

First post in the resort changers thread, AHHH! I had to vent my frustrations somewhere though at Disney tempting me! When I first booked my trip in March I used a PIN code that did NOT include the GF. Today I get a PIN code for our dates with the GF included! I am really looking forward to staying at the WL, but GRRR DISNEY YOU TEMPTRESS! Why now?!? =) Someone please tell me the construction is ugly so I don't try to change.

No beach at GF/crane/construction (I LOVE GF BTW) WL refurbbed rooms....will you be CL ?

Dani, you are NOT being silly, if you gut tells you this it is probably true and that really pissed me off for you. What is your recourse at your job? Can you and do you feel confident making a claim to an HR rep? Also, has anyone overhead your boss making suggestive/demeaning comments to you that could back you up? Perhaps keep a journal and record everything .... even people that may be within hearing of these attacks to you.

I know.....but I feel bad...BTW got a babysitter (2 actually) Team pas sitters!! The kiddos will love them. They both are ER techs and great with kids...plus I love 'em!!
