...is there a venue at WDW where we might trip the light fantastic ? I thought maybe at Pleasure Island or some after-dinner, clubby venue they might offer a place for ballroom dancing...

To my knowledge, there is no ballroom dancing venue at WDW. Sorry!

I believe Atlantic Dance Hall on the Boardwalk has ballroom dancing, but I've never been in and do not have any details.

Thanks! Ill look into Atlantic Dance Hall but I won't hold my breath. All those dancing toes will be spared, I guess!

Nope ... they do not. They used to do demonstrations and exhibition dancing from time to time, but it was never meant to be a "Dance Hall" in that sense.
