What are the pros and cons of both of these resorts?

We are going the week before Thanksgiving and it will be myself, DH, DD (9yrs) and DS (3yrs).

Thanks for any input you can give me.

We stayed at ASMovies in one of the few regular (not extra price) sections, Mighty Ducks. That section is so close to the main building at ASMusic, that it's entirely possible to use either resort's bus, food court, gift shop, etc. I would say ASMu's bus stop was actually closer to us than our own. So if you were sharing a bus from the parks, you could get off at ASMu. During our stay in November we did not share a bus once. Sharing varies depending on crowds. Staying at ASMovies Mighty Ducks section gives you access to two resorts at the same time, and no preferred building charge. All Star Sports is a ways away from the other two.

Your DD will love the giant movie icons, and the Sorcerer Mickey pool is fun for the kids because Mickey sprays water. There's also a water play area there. Now the Mighty Ducks pool is very large and uncrowded, just might not be as appealing to your DD as Sorcerer Mickey would be.

Here's a map from Disney website showing all 3 resorts, and you can zoom in and look around. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/map/#/id=all-star-movies-resort/

Haven't stayed at ASMo, but have at ASSports. One thing to consider is that this is the resort, normally, where all of the sports, cheer, dance competitors stay. And some of the tour groups. You might want to check your dates to see if any of these will be there at the same time.
