As if my day couldn't get any worse.

My doctor thinks I may have a mild case of the swine flu. It's been going around, and apparently I caught it. I started feeling sick Tuesday morning, and I immediately started the Tamiflu. I took the one pill Tuesday night, and woke up this morning feeling much better. Still not 100%, but better than the day before.

So please everyone, stay healthy. Even though the mass histeria around SF has died down, it's still out there. Keep practicing good hygiene, and don't think you won't get it. Didn't think it was gonna be me, but surprise surprise it was.

It's always something.

There's been an outbreak in my school, 11 kids in my grade alone have it. School ends tomorrow (full days) so they're just keeping it open. They say stay home if you want b/c were not doing anything.

I'm quarantined for 7 days, today was only day 2. I'm screwed because I still have 2 finals to take, and school ends Tuesday.

Oh, and thanks you guys! I have not felt this crappy since I was on chemo. My body aches so much, it hurts to just roll over in bed. I woke up at 7am and since then I've taken at least 3 1-2 hour naps. Chocolate milk and toast is all my stomach can handle, and I just went out on a limb and had a tiny bowl of mashed potatoes for dinner. It's all I've had to eat today. /:

ETA: Sarah, that's what I'm doing but since I'm considered contagious for the next 5 days, my tutor can't come over. My school is run by dingbats so they'll only let her come till this Friday!

Thank you everyone! It means so much, your prayers have worked in the past and I have faith they will work this time.
Hilary, thankfully I have teachers that are great advocates for me. They are talking to my guidance counselor because now it is a medical problem.

BTW, just in case anyone wants to know my symptoms - sore throat and body aches. I woke up and my chest hurt, then came the sore throat, then the cough, and now the body aches. No real fever, just a slight fever. I've also got some pressure in my left ear, like right behind where my jaw meets my ear.

I had to cancel it. We have to schedule our optometrists appointments waaaaaay in advance - I've had this booked since March. I'm soo pissed about it too, but you have to do what you have to do. I didn't even know I was to be "quarantined" until today when the doctor called and said to.

More waiting. Always waiting, waiting, waiting. They hit me at the worst times too.
