we probably should have been wearing masks!Cherie, I'm so sorry everyone was sick. I'm glad you didn't let it spoil your day. Fun pics - you and Bailey look as pretty as Belle in the "blue dress" shot!![]()
hmmm....i feel kinda wierd saying this ,but i can't wait to check this restroom out...(i'm baiting u here). it's like finding a hidden treasure.
He's joked about serving in the disney world mission...How cool for Evan to meet the Elders! So, now does he hope he gets to serve in the Orlando area?![]()
I became the proud owner of the shirt.I am coveting Ballie's new shirt and confess that I too, would be very excited about Belle in her blue dress.
.
Too bad you are all so sick! Mucus and hacking up lungs is never fun, but esp. not when you have EPCOT to get to. And tripply NOT when you have to pay your left eye and pinky toes for a minuscule amount of med.
I'm not sure if I want to know what kind of "hidden treasure" you'd find in the bathroom.
you can always count on me!![]()
Right before we got to the gates at Epcot, Evan spoted a group of white shirts and ties....Elders! He was realy excited. I guess I should explain..Most young men from our church serve a 2 year mission between the ages of 19 and 21. Evan has been excited about serving since he was about 5....he now only has 3 years untill he'll go. So, to him it was like meeting rock stars.
It was really odd to see them at Disneyworld but we found out that they were all returning home that week and the Elders that serve in orlando get a few days at DisneyWorld before they go home.

it was kinda strange to see them there.Oh my gosh it's the elders! I'm soooo jealous!
Missionaries from our church....Don't mean to be Ignorant, who are the "elders"?![]()
All your pictures are great!! Glad you found the extra pictures from that night. We had a good time meeting you guys and look forward to a "meet" again in Feb. The pictures of the next day are hysterical! Love MIL & the Troll.![]()

When I die, I want my tombstone to read....Loving Mother who endured cub scouts and band concerts just because she loved us.
But tonight was a double whammy. Cub Scout pack meeting and a band concert. Normally, I enjoy pack meetings about as much as a root canal in Disney world but tack on a 2 hour band concert to the end of the evening and it makes the 15 boys yelling and running around for an hour seem like a day at the beach.
The band concert wouldn't be quite so bad, but Evan is in Jazz band also. I rate Jazz music about a hair above rap. As I was sitting in the packed, overheated theater, I looked around and noticed that almost everyone there had the same glazed over expression. There were a few who looked to be enjoying themselves but I think they all just turned their hearing aids off.
It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't last so long. I think each piece lasts 10 minutes. Or how about playing something we have heard before or recognize?
Why you may ask do I do sit through these year after blessed year? Well, it's because I'm a mom. When I gave birth to that boy 16 years ago, I never imagined the pride I'd feel watching him play the tuba and trombone.
So, I sit through the concert with tears in my eyes....some from pride and some from pain.
