As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

Yeah another update!

We hit Coral Reef on our trip in June and it was disappointing. When DH and I did it on our adult trip in 2002 we loved it. Don't think we'll be going back there.

All kids love getting something new. Best way to settle any fight.

What did MIL think of Honey I Shrunk the Audience? Did the rats get her?

Beverly? YUK! There's no accounting for taste.:sad2:

We loved the redone Golf Ball. I wish I had gotten a picture of us in the future. Yours are so funny.

Congrats to Ethan for conquering a new fear. It really is a ride not to be missed.

Our families would get along splendidly!!! My kids are constantly trying to oust each other from one another's presence with their own personal "flamethrowers", and then roll for minutes with 3 year old like glee!!
The worst of it is that I cannot for the life of me keep a straight face, which makes it all the worse. Yup, right up there with the Winkers-Mature-o-Factor.

Too bad the Coral stunk, as long as we're on that subject...

And to continue on... our total favorite in all of Future World is "The Figment Ride". Who can beat skunk farts for an 8 and 10 year old? :confused3

Beverley brings chuckles to all in the know! Can't wait to try it on our newbie of the TC3 later (oops, almost said next! :scared1:) this year!! Oh, I get to finally say THIS year!!!!

The whole Innoventions episode with all of your children calling to complain was priceless! I would have been tempted to stop answering the phone. ;)

Your MIL liked Beverly??? Wow. I don't even know what to say.

Hurray for Ethan riding Soarin' -- nothing like trying to look impressive to cheerleaders to make a teenage boy overcome his worst fear. :lmao:

That whole installment was hilarious from skunks, flatulance, MIL liking Beverly and all the kids phoning you, you can never ever say you have a boring trip can you :rotfl:

Why am I not surprised that MIL liked Beverly? That woman can ruin a good joke, that's for sure!

SHE LIKED BEVERLY?

No words.
either she's Italian and we didn't know or she has no taste buds!

.
I was glad we used ddp for it and not "out of pocket". Paying for a less than stellar meal isn't as bad when it's already paid for.

I can't believe MIL liked the Beverly:eek:
I think I need to get her some for christmas.

I can't keep a straight face either.......which just eggs them on even more.

some days I hate my cell phone!

nope, when it comes to my family it's never boring!

:lmao::lmao:

I'm in shock that your MIL enjoyed the Beverly.

I felt the same way about the Coral Reef. It's not what I was expecting at all.

Are you planning another trip for 2010?

I've got a picture of the perfect bikini for MIL (for her Beverly ad) over on my thread, it was taken at the KS State Fair and the bikini is made of duct tape!

:rotfl: I'll have to go check it out

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:
I just spit my water all over the keyboard

I loveee those suckers. I've never seen the really big ones though. Those are sweet.

I'm sorry you stop at CR wasn't the best. It it Dh and I's favorite place and we haven't had a bad experience but we always make our resse right when they open for dinner- so we are one of the firsts to get seated and get our food. The food does look yummy in the pictures though.

February. February. February.:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
cheap airfare. cheap airfare. cheap airfare.:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
do you think that will help?

When dh and I went in 2006 we loved it. I think they've changed the menu quite a bit, it just didn't seem as good as we remembered it to be.

I'm going to take some cold medicine and go back to bed.....hopefully I'll feel good enough to update this afternoon.

Lets just say we were all a little underwhelmed. We were seated as far from the tank as possible and could on occasion make out the shape of a fish as it floated by.
The food was just "ehh"...ok, it had definatley gone down hill in taste and quality since our virsit time. Luckily, none of us are really picky eaters so we were all ok.

I'm sorry you were disappointed :sad2:

the age old ritual of a man protecting his meat....

Boys are weird :rotfl2:

Hunter enjoyed eating his fish infront of the fish tank...;)

Oh, the delicious irony!

While we were gone we had several calls from different kids complaining about eachother or MIL. She and Bailie really don't get along well. By the 10th call I gave up and decided we better go back and play referee. As an attempt to calm some of the crappiness, we bought everyone a little something from mousegears.

Mouse Gear cures all ills ::yes::

We also had gotten some school bread and a few other pastries from Norway. Everyone sat and ate and attempted to remember that they love eachother and we were in WDW dang it!!

The best way to cheer the kids up was a ride on Figment...this is a family favorite. I don't know why really....probably because it's silly and a skunk farts......yep that's the level of my families maturity.

:lmao: You know, that's the one ride we missed on our list this year. Looking forward to trying it out next time - it sounds like it's right up our alley! :rotfl:

I now give you the Kendall family motto

Flatulence Forever!

Bahahahaha :rotfl2:

She asked for more! Beverly!!
We were all stunned and a little disappointed that we didn't get to see her face go into convulsions.

What's wrong with her tongue?! :scared1:

As we exited club cool, I looked around and Future World looked as tho it had been hit by a plague.......of cheerleaders.... Moses should have cursed Pharoah with a plague of overly excited, cheering teenage girls.....Heck, Pharoah would have done anything to get rid of them.;)

Cheerleaders en masse?! :scared1:

Once it was up and going he finally relaxed and enjoyed the ride! It's so fun to see kids overcome their fears. I think it helps them in the real world to know they can take on scary things and be ok if not better afterwards.

Well done for riding Soarin', dude! :thumbsup2

Next we journed through spaceship earth or as I will always call it the golf ball.
DSC02098.jpg

That's what we call it too! Well, Mickey calls it "the big golf ball in Eggpot"! :rotfl2:

up next........I'm so excited I can't even feel my head....

I can't decide if it's good or bad to be so excited you can't feel your own head :lmao: Looking forward to finding out though, Cherie!!! popcorn::
